We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Bay of Bengal last night. The staff were very polite and friendly. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time and food here, excellent and friendly service, witnessed a not so nice table be quite rude to the staff of which they handled very professionally… will definitely be coming back :)

No way is this food upto to Birmingham Balti standards ... food was ok , service was ok... harsh,,, but there's very limited restaurants in this vicinity so we had to make do... Also advise the male waiter on personal hygiene..

Review of Bay of Bengal, Tywyn recently opened Exceptional, we were with great company and that was equally matched with the quality of service and food. My wife had the sea bass and thought it amazing but all four dishes were fabulous and good portion size. All too often in Indian restaurants you feel as if you're being rushed so they can get the next 'bums on seats' but not here. The table service was every bit as good as the food and they were happy to chat about Wales, India and other experiences, made it a perfect evening. Thank youBoB, Tywyn, we will be back

The food was absolutely delicious, tasted amazing and good portions to. The staff couldnt be more hospitable. My only issues were the confined seating arrangement and been seated so close to the public toilet. So it will be take out next time. Apart from that, a spot on Indian restaurant.

The food is good but not great place to choose as first option. May be good for a takeaway but not an authentic Indian restaurant to try out for some great food. There is car park nearby but always busy during weekends and holidays.

Not very impressed. As it's takeaway only I ordered and was told it would be 30mins. Returned after 20mins and the food was already done. The food was already going cold. Two dishes ordered were very bland. Bengal special is chicken and king prawn. One king prawn in the dish. Disgraceful for £10.95. Chicken tikka masala for £9.95 is mainly sauce with a small chicken breast at most. Naan bread was very doughy and not cooked on one side. Chips were swimming in grease and at £3.50 a portion were terrible. I now know why the chip shop in aberdovey was so busy and the Bengal was empty. Definitely wont be back.

On holiday, My Birthday and after reading the reviews there wasn't another place worthy to go (me liking Indian food swayed that decision lol) I had a Chicken Balti with Garlic Nann and Mushroom Pilau Rice, Absolutely delicious it's a pity we live so far away esle I'd be in here most weekends, we'll worth a visit you will not be disappointed..
