Ordered a takeaway at 7pm to be delivered told it would be 45 mins to 1 hour rang again at 8-15pm told it would be another 20 mins. 9pm still no delivery rang and cancelled. Won’t be ordering again

Went to this place for dinner tonight and was impressed with the food there. We ordered garlic nan, dal soup, vegetable jalfrezi, prawn korai and steamed rice. Everything was very delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Ignore the decor, if you are looking for old school superb food, this place is great, the service, the speed, and the food were all fantastic, if I didn’t live in Oxford I would use this place everytime

Excellent food. Friendly service. A nice environment. Well worth supporting this local business. It's been an Indian restaurant since 1986 and survives because its excellent. Give it a try. If you like good curry, you'll enjoy visiting this restaurant.

I like my Indian food aromatic rather than hot. The waiter listened and brought out lovely food. Layered flavours in the curries, excellent rice and superb naan bread. Good service as well.

Went out for a meal tonight with my family. The place has what I would call a classic feel. Old school. The staff where very polite and helpful. The food was amazing. I mean out of this world.!! Haven't had food a good as this for a long time. Would definitely recommend to anybody.. Thanks for a great meal guys.

One of the worst Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever seen… beetroot red and as sweet as a desert !! It was uneatable. Unfortunately it was also a takeaway so we were stuck with it. Chicken Jalfrezi was ok.

Food was really good. The nan bread is really good, slightly crispy on the edge and yet fluffy as well. Lamb korma was delicious, lamb was barbecued first then cooked with korma.

Suspend your judgement on appearances. You will be seated swiftly and have a nice pint of Cobra under your nose in good fashion.The food is what is best about this joint, next best is the swift service.Hopefully one day they'll update the place. It is deserving and in good location Inside the castle walls.

Everything was delicious. The chicken biryani and the chicken tikka masala and the naan bread were yummy. The prawn in the prawn korma was very small and not a lot.
