Browns in Gwynedd

The greatest bread based dishes to ever entered my food hole. The baguettes are the perfect texture and size. The fillings are perfectly crafted by the very friendly and efficient staff. The prices are exactly as expected. I've been coming to Barmouth for 4 years now and in the 2 week visits, we must come at least 3 times. Just perfection. The bakes and cakes are great too.

Really nice homemade baguettes, and more. The friendly staff who work there make any baguette you ask, fairly priced and it's a place I've been to every year for as long as I can remember. Would recommend if you're going through Barmouth as every year we come camping and visit it at least three times! In my opinion the perfect place where you should get your lunch!

Despite the nice food I won't be spending money here as the staff are rude. Arguing with a paying customer over a face mask when said customer is exempt is unacceptable and discriminates against hidden disabilities. Demanding a card which isn't available to English citizens and not required by law to Welsh citizens isn't a great way to make customers feel welcome.

Myself husband and two sons visited here and had sandwiches and baguettes they were really tasty, fresh ingredients and super fresh bread. Staff very friendly and helpful will definitely be back. Thank you BROWNS for our super lunch 🍱

Was so rude, just AVOID!!Kicked me out of shop because I was medically exempted from wearing a mask. Had ago at 6 year old in our large group for also not wearing a mask bringing her to tears. Then told another member the group to get out as she was looking at the menu and they closed in 5 mins! Was talking about tourists even though we probably help keep them in business!

Absolutely disgusting and rude to a customer waiting to order food, outside until there was only 2 people inside following covid rules, the owner does not deserve any customers if that's the way he treats them he won't get my custom ever again after years in using Browns

Is a must if you want a yummy sandwich - the best in town!

Nice service and good food. Lamb and mint ‘pastie’ very good. Good if you can get a table outside but there are only two!

Friendly staff in a very nice little sandwich shop, that sells some right tasty food.Some mouth watering fillings in these sandwiches and baguettes, plus for a seaside resort area, the prices are spot on. Keep up the good work guys.Great 😁👍

Best sandwich shop in Barmouth. Lovely people. Great choice of fillings. Always stop here when on holiday.
