The main dishes are top quality, right up there with the best! We ate there on 30/05/22 and when we arrived, we liked the decor and general appearance of the restaurant. We ordered poppadoms, starters (chicken chat and mixed kebabs). These were very tasty and well seasoned. The mains in my opinion were the highlight. I ordered Korai and others ordered Peli peli and pathia. We would highly recommend all of these dishes as I had a taste of each one. Overall an excellent meal and good evening, recommended!

We visited here yesterday while staying in North Wales after climbing Snowdon. What a treat this place was! The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and there were plenty of vegetarian options. For starter I had onion bhajis, which were fresh and tasty, my partner had Shish kebabs which came out on a bed of onions on a sizzling plate, which looked and smelled delicious. For main I had the paneer pathia and can honestly say it was one of the nicest curries I've had! Plenty of paneer and packed full of flavours. We also had a Garlic Naan which was so fresh and tasty. Portion sizes were very good too. Will deffo visit again next time we're in Caernarfon. Da Iawn!

Return visit. The lack of alcohol isn’t really an issue.Fabulous service, great menu selection and we went back because the food is so flavoursome. It’s not just heat. It’s Gooooood. I had a chicken Rogan Josh and it was delicious. We’ve had take away too. And they don’t let you down. Great portions too.

We were visiting Caernarfon from France with my partner and had dinner there once. The food was delicious… especially the naans!!! So fluffy, warm, perfect. The staff was extremely nice too. Would totally recommend!

Excellent food, service friendly and attentive but not overbearing. One of the best Indian meals I've had out in a long time. We'll be back soon.

Outstanding quality and taste. I have tried a lot of asian dishes in UK, but here taste is on another level. This cook is amazing. Keep up guys!

Very attentive staff to my partner’s request for non-spicy, gf, vegetarian and they did not disappoint. I had a veggie Thai inspired mushroom coriander chef’s recommendation. Clean and tidy inside and private tables not too close to neighbours.

Staff were pleasant and tentative during my visit here.So before I begin it is worth pointing out that this place does not serve alcohol and by the looks of previous reviews, not served them for some time but you can bring your own.Served by a young lady and rather order my usual safe meal I asked her if she could recommend the mains for me but emphasised that I do like not overly hot spicy meal, like a vindaloo, I was duly corrected that spice and heat were two different things which is right....silly me.She recommended Kalta Lamb but would ask the chef to make it slightly spicy...sorry hot for me, great. I also ordered King Prawn Butterfly and some poppadoms with pickle tray, Chilli Naan and egg fried rice. The poppadoms were well poppadoms what can you say, the dips were a nice array of dips with different tastes but would loved it if it included spicy onions. So after a light starter, my starter starter were the Butterfly King Prawns coated in breadcrumb with a sprinkle of Coriander leaves and garnished with lettuce tomato and cucumber (and a wedge of lemon). Come on what's with the garnish...sooo old fashioned. Ok I was hoping the KP coatings had some spice through it, but no. Thank goodness I still had the dips. On their own they taste like any ordinary fried KP. they were juicy and tasty enough but could had added spice to it or an India spice dip!!!Main course the Kalta Lamb, a very tasty dish. So since I have never had this meal before I cannot really compare it to anything I have had before but it was very good. The lamb meat pulled apart so easily and tasted fantastic-melting in my mouth. The sauce, in my opinion, reminded me of rich gravy with onions through it. Personally I thought it lacked spice and heat (even though she later confirmed she had asked the chef to add heat into it). I used some of the chilli in the naan bread to add some heat. The naan bread was good, nice fluffy and gorgeous to chew.I also ordered a portion of egg fried rice, possibly one of best egg fried rice I've had in an Indian. So negative points....Men - don't go to the toilet before having your meal. The place looks like a pub conversion judging the looks of the urinal. It still has the appearance and odour and looking at the wall, as its what I'm staring at at the time (lol), I see traces of dried blood...remains of a bar fight? The lower walls had chunks in it which could had been repainted during the restrictions. Anyway its all about the food and staff which is all good. I would come back but maybe avoid the toilets.

I enjoyed my outing to the highly rated Caernarfon Tandoori restaurant. It was jam packed on the last evening of 'Eat out to help out' and rightly so. It's a pleasant place with smart decor and clean facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The menu seems good although a few more vegetarian Chef's recommendations would be a good idea. My food was very tasty, albeit a little too salty. The other dishes were good and the Naan bread excellent. There are three Indian/Bangladesh/Curry restaurants in Caernarfon I visit and all of them are definitely worth a visit. The unlicensed ones are great if you prefer your own choice of alcohol and it keeps the cost down too. Recommended 👍
