Great chippy, staff were helpful and prices aren’t too bad considering it’s such a big clean cafe so close to the beach

Extortionate prices as to be expected by the seasidePoor value portions on chips and kebabs.Had a mixed meat kebab for £8, would have been over priced at £4, Donner Meat was very greasy and tasted the same.Chicken meat was ok, it's just that there wasn't much of either in the kebab, I'd recommend buying the mixed meat portion on its own then buy the pitta separate, works out the same price for double the food.Sausages are actually alright, albeit expensive.

Worst, overpriced fish and chips I've ever had. Really greasy and the batter was soggy. Toilets had an out of order sign on but staff said they were fine to use. Maybe they just don't want customers to use them. They were grotty and the men's had no soap. £32 for a family of 4 and one meal was just chips and gravy. We went here to get out of the rain and because it had plenty of seating. Really wish we hadn't

Love Barmouth, been a few times.Passed through in our campervan yesterday (28th May) on route to our campsite for the night and thought we would grab some chips.We (me and Mrs) are fussy when it comes to chip shops and we know a good chippy when we find one and got to say this chippy was lovely 😋 best chips, scollops and Savaloy we have had for a long time. Can highly recommend 👍

Great selection of foods, very reasonable prices and quick service. Food was tasty and cooked to perfection. Loads of seating so you don't feel crowded.

Fish Chips n Curry to take out £9-80Loads of thick batter with a small piece of fish inside - walked down the road and saw a family eating what looked like a whale in comparisonAnd then cash only - no card The guy serving looked miserable ☹️You got one star as the curry sauce was lovely

Guy with glasses+beard was Sooooo miserable who served us, felt like we were an inconvenience for using the establishment. Food was ok, nothing special, will steer clear in future + take our custom elsewhere.

The food was lovely, rather pricey though, I had the cod and it was very tasty. The queuing was confusing to say the least. It was very busy, which isn't there fault but people were standing around waiting for their order and customers coming in thought they were in the queue to be served. I told a few customers they were on the wrong queue but did see a few people give up and leave.

Very poor fish! Maybe it was because we ordered haddock or they just have no idea how to cook fish!! The fish was dry and the batter thick. The service (I use the term loosely) at the till was surly but the young lad who brought our meals was lovely. Unless you like fish jerky I'd give this place a wide berth!! 👎 It gets 1 star only because they allow dogs!
