Monday. Very busy with queue but all cooked fresh to order and was fairly quick. Well worth ordering by phone and collecting. I just had large cod and mushy peas. Took 5 minutes from order to collection.

Best fish and chip dinner we’ve had in a long time. If you’re visiting the area like we were and looking for the best chip shop you can find, this is absolutely the one to go for and worthy of every single recommendation on here. Thank you.

Beautifull, old fashion Chippy. Great taste, nice service. Recommended place to visit and eat in.

On holiday here. Having the loveliest time! Been exploring and meeting lots of amazing people. Good reviews so thought would have some fish and chips for tea. Food was ‘nice’ however was served by a young girl who I don’t think has ever smiled in her life! Not exactly great customer service but food was ok! She didn’t seem to have a sole. 🐟

Was our go to but seems to have gone downhill especially in regards to service; most recently had our order forgotten about so we walked away with soggy chips and onion rings after 20 mins, whilst others with bigger orders (placed after ours) got their food first. By this logic if another few with big orders had come in we would've been waiting an hour or more. Told the staff not to forget about it again please as we're loyal only to be met with eye rolls and no apologies. I understand locally standards are perhaps lower to what most people are used to but nonetheless this disappointed us greatly. One last chance guys and if its this bad again we wont come back, not that we feel valued.

The best fish chips and peas around. Everything was perfectly cooked, non greasy, fluffy batter and super chunky fresh fish. Blooming gorgeous

Possibly the best fish and chips? The 4 of us all agreed they were absolutely great. Nice shop front and great staff.

Stayed in a holiday cottage literally next door to the Chippy Dre so it would be rude not to try it .I had cod and chips which were lovely, some of the nicest chips I have had for a long time . Should have known they would be good because more often than not people were queuing up outside the door and there was a constant passing of people past our door.

We had a small portion of fish 🐟 and chips each, absolutely lovely fish + chips, glad I didn't have large

Great place for a Fish and chips. But sausages are good too! Big meals, so think about sharing. All is fried in front of you, in a big retro "oiltub", interesting to see. Be careful with salt!
