Cross Foxes Bar & Grill in Gwynedd

Our server was delightful and the food delicious. Even better, the kind host find us a table even though they were fully booked! For a trio of road weary and hungry travellers, this was a miracle indeed.

What a beautiful place with amazing food. Everything we've ordered was so tasty. It was lovely to seat outside on a big terrace and enjoying the views of the hills. We'll definitely eat here again.

Been here a few times over the years and always very much enjoyed it. Food is always very good and a decent selection of drinks. Views are amazing from the pub and you get the odd plane low flying over which is awesome. Only let down on this occasion was the customer service, once the meal was finished we were ready to leave as had to be on our way and it took 15 minutes to find any member of staff in the whole restaurant and even went to the bar where again there was no member off staff, bit unusual to leave the whole place without any member of staff in site for 15 minutes, perhaps something to think about in the future.

We did have a really nice meal in here I have to say the chefs did a lovely job with our food.Service was ok, seemed to be a bit of trouble trying to get us a table to start of with and talking between eachother as staff should have been done away from us not moaning in front of us as new customers. It would have been better to be given a menu and being asked to take a seat and wait. Didn't take too long to take the order and the lady was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her. As so paying and us wanting to leave after finishing out meal, we had 15 minutes of trying to find just any member of staff to give us the bill to pay. We could not find anyone at all. I know it was getting near 9pm but we were one of the last people.Other than all that, we had a wonderful meal and it was relaxing in there. We were very tired after having a big day out and just wanted some good cooked food and we got it. Lovely date night for the two of us.

Was on a road trip with a friend of mine stopped here to use the bathroom and came back later to see the menu. Good service and if your an American looking to try some Local Welsh food. I highly recommend it. It's a very comfortable atmosphere as well.

Very welcoming staff.best ribs I have had this side of the Atlantic. Daughter said her burger was the best too. Can't praise enough the teams efforts to make our early evening experience enjoyable . Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Stopped here for lunch after a walk with the dogs. Food was amazing! The beef and ale pie was the best I've ever had. Would recommend. Will be back next time we are in Wales.

The atmosphere here was lovely. However being a vegetarian options were very limited. There were loads of meat recipes that were a big hit with the consumers. The kitchen did offer a vegetarian curry which would have been tasty if it weren't for my vanilla pallette. Beautiful area and had a great weekend around the surrounding areas. Worth a visit if you're a meat eater.

Not the best for me. Order the lamb roast. Got served 2 roast potatoes a pile of mash potato 4 slices of carrot and 1 sprig of broccoli. And the biggest pile of red cabbage. Not what the menu said. Complained and said that the menu did not say mash on it and was told it was a typo and that is how it comes. The only good thing I could say was the lamb was nice

Fantastic!!! Stopped here for a romantic weekend break. The rooms and decor are beautiful, we had a big room that was very luxurious. The food was to a very high standard we had a lovely evening meal with a nice big desert. The breakfast was top notch as well. The staff were welcoming and friendly. You can tell that a lot of work gets put in to keep the place to a really high standard in every aspect. 👍👍👍
