Great pub with a snooker table, good service, we felt like we were at home.

I think this is a promising pub with a couple nice ales and great service, but it's missing warmth and a welcoming devour.

This is one of my favourite places. I regularly go there with my brother in law for a few beers and a few games of snooker. Gwyn and Christine the landlords always welcome us with a smile. Long may the douglas stay open

The Dougie is friendly and welcoming, it’s no frills and old school. It’s a CAMRA pub so the beer is great, and there’s always a lower alcohol choice for the drivers. And on sunny days the beer garden is lovely!

Went with a few friends on sunday. Spent about £70 between us in the space of an hour. They only had a couple of other customers who were obviously regulars. We bought our last round at 2:45. At 3 o'clock we were rudely asked to leave. We weren't even given the time to finish our drinks even though it says online they are open untill 4. One man even made attempts to take full pints off the table we were sat at. The same man held his hand out as we were trying to finish our drink befor we left. Ive never had such awful customer service, And un willingness to accommodate paying customers.

Visited this gem with three mates in the early 80s en route to Bangor. Recall Geoff Davies serving us and asking us for 63/- for a round of beers. £3.15 for 4 pints?!? Yer conner gerra pint fer that!! Happy days, eh! :-)
