Gwesty Minffordd Hotel & Restaurant in Gwynedd

The location is absolutely stunning!! Right at the trail head for Cadair Idris. Note: the trail head has a free EV car charger next door (pay for parking, no overnight). The hotel and room was exactly as advertised and the service was above and beyond. We had dinner and breakfast on our own in the dining room and it was really nice. Rooms are what you expect from an updated old Inn - comfortable bed and bedding, internet in the common area but spotty in rooms, weird shaped rooms with uneven floors, and toilets tucked in weird locations. But this is all part of the experience and I would happily stay here again for access to the nearby hiking trails workout having to drive anywhere - really great experience!

Awesome place!!! Gwesty minffordd is located in amazing place with very beautiful views on mountains. Quiet and clean area. The restaurant is very clean and nice. Service i so kind and helpful. Food is delicious!!! It's home made and tasty. Great please for whole family. Great place where you can stop for food or coffee on your trip. Highly recommended.

Just stopped for coffee on our journey to our next holiday let. Host was very helpful, coffee was great too. There are 7 rooms here, didn't get further details, but the whole place had a warm, welcoming feel to it.

I haven't even stayed here yet but I just wanted ro say a kind Thank you to the owner who allowed us to swap our booking without charge to another date. The pending storms would have meant dangerous driving conditions to get there. So Thank you again. Looking forward to our stay in a couple of weeks and of course the breakfast and the mountain.

Blooming beautiful spot and hotel. Very clean, friendly, calm and peaceful spot. We unwound very quickly ready to enjoy the local adventures. Food was delicious and catered for gluten free

Superb breakfast, easy to find and plenty of parking, along with an ideal location to explore the area.Definitely staying here again, and the owner has some incredible stories to tell.
