We stayed in this place back in July 2018 for one night. It was the worse hotel bed we ever slept in. The room was not very nice, was not very clean either. There was nobody at reception, meals were not being served, we had to find ourselves at CO-OP because nothing was open in town. This place shouldn't ever been in on booking websites. We drove over 600 miles we were tired, our experience was not very welcoming, we left as fast as we could and never looked back. Thanks!

The hotel was okay, good location from where we wanted to go. With a co-op shop Infront and local shops and bakeries around can't fault the location at all. The hotel had good quality beds and clean sheets with a very good view outside. There were bits of mildew build up on the bathroom wall but nothing major. For the price we paid and for one nights sleep it was acceptable. Little breakfast place Infront of the hotel as well. Checking out process was a bit confusing as there was no one in the reception so we just left the keys on the desk and left. All other stuff you expect from a hotel was there so no much complaints

Popped in for a quick drink, place was empty and all the seats had no leather left on any of them and it was just foam and bits of ripped up leather. Carpet was horrible too. Heating was not working and they had electric heaters in but these didn't make any difference. Lady behind the bar was very nice and helpful though.

We had a really spacious family room which was clean, nice and cosy. Lovely view from the window. The staff and Manager were really friendly. We loved the area and breathtaking views. It takes only 40 min drive to Snowdon Mountain. The breakfast was not available due to refurb but they recommend nice and cheap coffee shop with delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our 5 nights stay and we even extended for extra night. We will definitely come back.

Great hotel with cosy rooms and a big mountain in front of it. Close to the train station!

Great value for your money. Lovely room with big bed and a sofa bed for me and my 2 boys. The owners were great, nice real ales but we didn't eat here so can't comment on the evening menu. Nice cooked breakfast. it was very quiet when we went and the hotel is a little run down but that didn't bother us

Arrived later then expected after a LONG day of driving and was greated by a lovely friendly man (didn't get his name) who was welcoming and knowledgeable. He welcomed me to join the local trivia night and helped carry my bags. The room was clean, big and had a beautiful view. It wasn't the most comfortable bed, but the view and one night stay made it worth it. Parking was free over night from 10am-4pm and close. Would definitely stay again.

Gentleman who took our breakfast order just made our day! Good place to set down after a day in the open country. Shower was powerful and bed comfortable but some updating is still probably required!

Hotel in great location for visiting surrounding tourist areas. Fair to say the hotel is currently undergoing some refurbishment and rooms being upgraded. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Could not fault service, nothing was too much trouble and felt there was a genuine desire to welcome. Breakfast was exceptional. I was staying on business and would definitely return.

Really poor night sleep for all 4 of us on cheap lumpy mattresses. Wanted to wake up fresh for zip wire day and weren't. Will spend £100 for b&b for 4 elsewhere when we come back
