A place where as you enter you have a "snack" self service, with indoor and outdoor seating.Further in, its a "wait to be seated" table service resturant serving wide range of meals, food & drinks.Very popular and always busy.

Been here many times over the years with my family and grandparentsā¦. It hasnāt changedWe went twice this weekFirst time, it was busy, we ordered our food and me and dad got the breakfastā¦.I had to ask for our toast which was swiftly brought over⦠then had to ask again for butterā¦We went again today, there were four young girls working who did everything in their power to ignore us.15 minutes we waited at our table and they walked past with their heads to the side and ignored us.APPAULING.The food is actually fairly decent in the end.Only saving grace being I walked out in disgust and left my phone, when I went back they had kept it safeā¦.Needs better management but not an awful place

Arrived early in Porthmadog for the Blanau train and tried this place for a breakfast. Good priced breakfast deal with a cuppa. Pleasant staff who do meals and the deli all day. Very satisfying breakfast, also bought one of the fabulous quiches which I picked up later from my rail journey. They also do lemon meringue pies that look absolutely awesome too. Great place for a bite !

Wow the food! Great Deli and fabulous restaurant. Should you be in Porthmadog and you donāt pop in for a bite to eat you have missed out on some amazing food with fantastic service. Warm welcome every time Lemon Meringue pie is to die for. The Port breakfast is delicious The black pudding is tasty soft and the best Iāve had in some months. Their home made onion rings also not to be missed

Very disappointing doesnāt deserve any * rating at all. Expensive poor quality food. You would expect this kind of stuff at a down at heel little cafe for half the price. On a Sunday in Porthmadog a lot of places are closed and it is all too easy to end up here. My instinct was to avoid the place but my husband was so hungry he was starting to pace like a tiger and they did offer a number of vegetarian options. I asked the proprietor about the veg curry option at Ā£12.25. He said it was veg curry, rice and chips. I asked if it had any protein he said no and made excuses about why not. In the end he agreed to give me some cheese instead of the chips. He pointed out that the curry was very popular and it was his wifeās recipe so I was expecting something tasty. What turned up was very peculiarā¦some shredded pepper, and red cabbage and tinned pineapple was all I could identify in a brown gooey gravy like substance which I suspect was a cheap packet curry mix.My husband was more happy with his veggie breakfast but didnāt rate the Glamorgan sausage that the proprietor raved about - that was little more than mashed potatoes and leek in an deep fried sausage shape. They seemed nice people but have no idea about providing balanced good quality food at a reasonable price. Unbelievable really.

very friendly staff, delicious food & good size portions at good prices. Plenty of choice for all tastes & dog friendly so 4 legged family can join you. Nice & clean & well laid out.

My partner and I went here for a Sunday roast. Very good quality food and a choice of alcoholic drinks both reasonably priced. The manager & staff are very friendly. Dog friendly too. Would strongly recommend. We did struggle to find places to eat in Porthmadog as most have a cold reception towards dogs!

Had lovely walnut cake & coffee inside and bought a fab steak pie to takeaway! Buy one each time we go as packed full with meat...delicious and only gone up 45p in 12 months! Still great value at Ā£7.45....does 2 meals for both of us!š

Poor food. Overpriced and lacking authentic cooking methods. I was served a fresh baked pie that had been reheated in a microwave. Soggy pastry is not what I expect when paying a premium. £12 and then charged £3 extra for chips to go with it. Avoid at all costs. We spent £75 for 4 adults and 2 children for a single course for food you would expect from a cheap chain. A cheap chain would have been cheaper and probably better quality
