King's Cafe at Talyllyn Railway in Gwynedd

Gluten-free (coeliac safe!) breakfast was delicious and good value for money. Staff were helpful and didn't mind me asking questions about the risk of gluten contamination etc.Was lovely to eat breakfast and be able to see/smell the trains getting ready to depart.Would highly recommend!! Thanks guys!

Great little cafe. Lovely coffee. Love watching the trains & the museum is great for little ones & older ones alike.

Pot of tea for two had only one teabag. Scrambled eggs a bit dry.Tried a Sunday lunch today, excellent 👌

Ordered double Welsh rarebit. Tasty but would if been better on a nicer thicker cut bread.

The only place in Tywyn where I have been made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Visited with friends who are blind, I too am blind The cafe was busy and we couldn’t work out if there were any tables free. Nobody, staff and patrons alike, attempted to help us apart from when we turned to leave when we were told to use the one way system in a somewhat unfriendly manner. Again, no help with which way to go. The whole room seemed to go quiet as we left. I’ll never go back there. Pity as we’d just had a very enjoyable trip on the railway itself.
