Lemon Grass in Gwynedd

Telephoned for a takeaway, owner got the order wrong & was quite adamant the order was right until my husband confirmed the order was correct!.. we have had too many meals that were really bad. Rather than put it right owner agreed for us to not go there again & to be honest would not anyway or recommend to other people. Go to Saffron in Barmouth or Bala instead, much better service & quality of food.

I've been visiting Dolgellau for the past 14 yrs and each time I visit Lemon Grass. The food has always been good, but tonight we had an especially good takeaway! The Jalfrazi and Korma were great. Really fresh and tasty. I don't know why it has such an average rating as the food and service seems really good. Keep up the good work Lemon Grass!

Group of three blokes stayed in the town for a few days motorcycling around Snowdonia. Ate here the first night and we were well impressed. Ended up going back the remaining two nights. Cannot fault the food nor service at all.I had a Pathia, naga and chilli mosalla. All were excellent.Recommended

Had a great experience there. The food was delicious and the service was fast and good.

Didn't have a meal as it was cash only and I didn't have enough money so decided on a takeaway, it was ok but not as nice as saffron in barmouth

Amazing food every time me and my husband went. Can't wait till we go again. Decor is a bit old but we go there for authentic food, not decoration :)

The waitress was very attentive. The food was filling, however, it was plain (no spice or flavour). Everything tasted like it was microwaved. We also heard the microwave go a few times...

Excellent bhajis & naans prepared fresh, sensible prices in current times, not very professional or modern but who cares? Friendly people working hard to produce tasty food. Portion size fine, certainly not small!

This is the 2nd time we have visited this area in 2 years and both times we have visited lemongrass most evenings, this year is a massive improvement over last which was also a good experience and we really enjoyed our meals here, I would recomend this place for a good curry

Cosy restaurant, decor is dated. Portions were average. Food was tasty. Only non-alcoholic drinks. Price was a good, £50 for food and drink for 4 ppl. Only takes cash (in this day and age), cashpoint 1min awag. Street parking opposite. Overall, a good experience.
