Great place for a coffee stop. We sat in the yard. Staff were excellent and very polite and friendly. While we sat having our coffee, we saw about 4 couples come down into the yard quick look round, and walked off without looking at the menu or going inside, all I could say was you missed out on a great experience. They serve breakfast until 11.30. If you sit out in the yard you will be given paper plates and cups that you will put in a bin provided and cutlery in a bucket of water.

Hidden gem, ReccomendedLovely little courtyard cafe accessed through an alleyway on the seafront.Cosy and colourful outside seating area and seating inside.Ordered a bacon and egg, no white or butter (fussy I know) to take away, it was a beautiful sunny morning so I wanted to enjoy my breakfast at the beach.Unfortunately when I opened my sandwich it was sausage and egg! I guess the order got mixed up with someone else's. Although it was not what I ordered, it was still a very nice sandwich and I'd recommend trying the cafe if your staying in the village!I only gave 4 stars because of the order mix up (I do like a BACON sandwich)

Such lovely staff who are always cheerful and welcoming even when we turn up before they're officially open! The scones particularly are always fresh and WARM - I never have scones anywhere else as they just don't compare! Seating outdoors and inside. Recommended!

Coffee is ok, service was good, tables cleaned down promptly. We ordered 3 x sausage sandwiches and they were terrible. I've read the other reviews and can't believe we are talking about the same place. Greasy and the lowest quality sausage you can buy, if you like a road side van on the A57 then this is the place to eat. Sorry for the rubbish review but we expected something nice, one my kids who will eat anything left most of hers. You have a nice looking butchers just round the corner, perhaps give them a try as your supplier and pay a bit more so they are edible.
