Murrays Cafe Bar in Gwynedd

Wonderful cafe & beautiful food well presented ! My friend and I ran in there on Sunday escaping the rain and staff were so welcoming ! Lunch was fresh & tasty and served with a smile , it means so much these days ! Lovely happy atmosphere and cake choice is unbelievable. Thank you .

Do not miss this fantastic little cafe!! Friendly welcoming staff for who nothing is too much trouble..I heard them assisting customers with allergies and even catefully wrapping up an uneaten sandwich for a lady to take home with her..as the sandwiches are super delicious and huge!! We had the bestest home made soups with a panini of bacon and brie..and it was absolutely perfect..If we had to score this lovely place it would be a well-deserved 12 out of 10!!

Had lunch here at the weekend. It is dog friendly, which is ideal for us. The food and service were absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Murray’s earlier today. The atmosphere was excellent, the service second to none and the goulash exceptional. If we lived nearer, we would eat here often.

Lovely little cafe, friendly staff, good range of drinks and cakes. Music playing softly in the background so you don't have to raise your voice to talk to your companions.If you are looking for somewhere a little more relaxed and friendly than the normal Costa or Star Bucks this place is definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful place to visit (every time to we come to Barmouth in fact) with delicious food and friendly staff. Special mention to Davina who is the most welcoming host in North Wales. 😊

This is a really nice little cafe. There are vegan meals, soups, toasties, paninis etc. Really enjoyed our lunch in here, the staff are very friendly too. We took two Eccles cakes out with us and they were delicious. Dog friendly 😊

After hours of riding our motorcycles from southport to Barmouth, we arrived a little late for lunch. We walked around looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't standard fish & chips. By chance we passed by Murrys cafe, the smell of delicious cakes/food and coffee wafting out of the door had me immediately hooked. So we took a chance and walked in. Best decision of the day, really relaxed vibe, clean and spacious. Even though we were late and the kitchen was closing soon, the lovely lady who took care of us and was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Absolutely cannot fault the meal or the brew (Yorkshire) we had. Quality/portion sizes were superb, even down to the small detail that went into the side salad that came with my panini. I'll 100% be back.

This is such a find in run down Barmouth! Lovely food, cakes especially, great drinks, very friendly and helpful staff. Everything is home made and very tasty. Lovely place to relax and dogs are welcome away from the counter. Chilled music - they’ve got it just right.
