Nanhoron Hotel in Gwynedd

Looked impressive, with nice beer garden, so stopped by for a (Thursday) lunchtime bite and a drink."Sorry, we only do that on Saturdays"Ah well.....

We have just been to the restaurant and I am absolutely appalled at what I witnessed . My wife and I felt unwelcome in the restaurant. The head waitress ( older lady with short hair) made us feel very uncomfortable. I wondered if it was because we are English or more worrying was it because my wife is Black???? Whichever the racist undertones where very strong! Never will we set foot in this place again!

Great place, great service and perfect position/baae for the beach and surrounding walks. The hotel has its own private bar/restaurant for guests and if your one ofr a bit more of a drink then they have a public bar open till late behind the hotel.

Arrived after 6 PM without a reservation, no problem. Ordered drinks and two main meals and waited in fresh and comfy surrounding. Food arrived within 15 minutes and was excellent, well presented and tasty.

The room was nice size. Hotel is located in the center of town. It was a short walk to the beach for great views. The restaurant being in the hotel was very nice too. The only issue was the bathroom shower REALLY needed a good clean. A slimy shower is just lazy cleaning.

We stayed for one night over Easter weekend. The hotel was welcoming, rooms cosy and clean with really comfortable beds and linen.We especially enjoyed the Netflix in the rooms which gave it that “home away from home feel”Breakfast was great, we had the Welsh breakfast which was clean and fresh not greasy at all as some cooked breakfasts can be.Overall a really pleasant stay, we will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic Carvery today, service good, clean safe environment, and food well presented. Would definitely recommend, and to be able to have a take-away was excellent

First time for me here with my Fiancée. Great atmosphere, great service and staff. Had a Sunday Carvery, Price was great, Food was lovely. We both had Vanilla Cheesecake as dessert. Maybe the dessert cabinet could have been slightly more colder. Other than that I will be definitely coming back here.

A lovely stylish hotel, it's clean, modern and the staff are more than helpful. The food is also great, and whatever you do don't miss the breakfast....it's fantastic.

Stayed here twice and happy with this nice small clean hotel.Not many places to eat nearby but the hotel food is good and reasonably priced.Room very clean and comfortable although not large.Nice beer garden at the back which is a sun trap in the summer and on sunny days.A few minutes walk from a lovely beach
