Pub is a bit run down but under new management. Was clean and the food was lovely and will be going back

Delicious burgers. Dog friendly. Great and welcoming staff who all checked on us to see if we were okay. Great local pub and my partner enjoyed the local ale. Has its own parking, so that's a plus. I wish they offered more local Welsh meals like cawl or Welsh cakes. But other than that, great place and great food! Would go again! X

Stopped here for tea. Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly. The food off the grazers menu was amazing. Drivers of larger vehicles should know that if you are accessing the car park from the front entrance, the road is very, very narrow and it's easier to approach from the rear.

Lovely warm welcome. Despite not having booked a table (I'd recommend!) and needing one for 2 adults and 3 children we were seated quickly. Carvery was Lovely! Meat cooked perfectly, all the other trimmings were tasty and well seasoned. 4 carveries polished off and full tummies. Will definitely return and have already recommended

Food was so good- we ordered half the menu (12 dishes)!!! Sat grazing while watching the footy and could not be happier!!! Such lovely staff and amazing food, glad we returned for a second year, and will certainly return for a third 😁 happy kids, happy parents!

Food amazing, staff are friendly and very accommodating. My 7 year old son would reccomend the curry night on a Wednesday. The price is excellent for the amazing quality of food... 4 of us ate multiple dishes (12) plus pudding for the kids.. and 3 drinks each (beer for the adults) all for under £100. Kitchen closes at 9 and we arrived at just after 8 so by the time the kids were ready for pudding the kitchen was closed and the chef was already done for the night and relaxing with a beer.. but he still went and happily got the kids their pudding. Cant reccomend the place enough. Ricky the barman who greeted us and served our food was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Looking for somewhere to eat on way home and chanced up this pub. Nice friendly staff but food wasn't up to scratch especially at the prices charged. I suspect the kitchen staff were doing their best and we were served within an acceptable time considering they had said their was a wait on food. However the steak and ale pie came with what can only be described as mushroom soup covering the whole plate completely spoilt the meal. Generally mediocre fair but at a substantial price, could do better if they tried.

Absolutely brilliant Sunday carvery . Home made just like your mum would. Piping hot which in my opinion makes such a difference. Warm atmosphere very friendly helpful staff. Warm welcome from the owner. Although very busy there the staff were very efficient. A definite return visit in the cards
