Newells Bakery in Gwynedd

Rude staff, says on the shop outside one customer in shop my dad was in the queue and a local walked straight in the shop so he decided to do so as thought well if the rule doesn’t apply to them then why should it apply to anyone else and then we he staff and customer was saying how rude foreign people was just walking in when customers was in the shop. Well how rude of the staff and customer was from the local area that they can call an English man foreign when he is coming in to give a local business more business. All I can say is if you are in the area on holiday and are foreign which we all are when we go anywhere new then avoid this shop told my dad not to have bought anything they don’t deserve customers if they can speak like that about anyone, foreign or not you shouldn’t be in business. Not acceptable comments or behaviour.

The rudest staff member I have ever encountered! Stepped inside off the high street. This woman barked at me "THE QUEUES OUTSIDE !!! " To which I left. There was no notices stating to queue outside . Word of advice "luv" , get yourself on a politeness course before I ever spend any money here

Just stopped by for a cake 'pick me up '. Got a good bakewell tart. The seller said that she didn't sell hot drinks but soon pointed me to someone who sells reasonably priced hot drinks. Very kind of her. Thanks kind people of Wales.

Traditional bakery with a good selection of breads and cakes. They also sell rolls for lunch. Really good price. Big shout to Eirian, very friendly and always ready to help.

Perhaps the best ever Chelsea bun I've had. I'm not such a sweets and pudding person. But their buns and pies are just so great. It's a shame I can have them only on holidays.Not a trendy place. Modest takeaway bakery with little gems faithful to the tradition.

The Chelsea buns in this place are amazing! It’s a small bakery, but lots of variety in terms of bread and cakes.
