Very straightforward snack bar, but reasonable priced, pleasant service and really nice cakes and sausage rolls. the latte was marvelous too

Average snack bar, but cool in that it’s next to a hike spot. Only small water bottles sold though and no tap water connection apparently so can’t refill bottles. Great interactive information board next to it though giving info on hikes in the area, as well as live weather information and other advice.

Would have given no stars if possible. Locked out of our rental car which used a phone app and our phone ran out of battery. Asked the two women working there if we could connect to the WiFi to download app on another phone as no data In nountains. They pretended to go in the back and speak to someone and told us the manager said we couldn't use it. Closed the shutters in our faces. Left us in the the freezing cold and drove off just by themselves no manager to be seen. Had to call a taxi to where we were staying. Two unhelpful welsh witches.

Please like if helpful👍After a long drive or an energetic walk round the lake, this is a great place for refreshments. Basic but clean toilet facilities. Oh and don't forget to try the minted lamb pasties they are delicious!

Always nice to reward yourself with a hot snack and a hot drink when wandering around Cwm Idwal in the winter. Parking is paid in the car park next to it but you can park for free on the pavements on the road. You run the risk of a parking ticket though. I've seen 30 cars with tickets!!!

Food a little expensive however you can talk to the warden and the toilets are spotless. A lovely place to take a walk

We had sausage rolls, cherry and almond cakes and coffee after a long 5h walk. Food was good and conforting. Coffee average. Service was poor. Staff wasn't welcoming at all and we even get shouted when I came back to get the cake the lady didn't pack. Apart from that very convenient location. Facilities clean. Would recommend at the end of a long day out.

The best sausage rolls and coffee in the area and considering its location the pricing was quite reasonable. Friendly staff and plenty room to sit and enjoy the stunning views down Cwm Ogwen and Tryfan.

I am not sure who is responsible for what here. National trust or the snack bar owner. The snack bar has a range of food drink and ice cream and are not too expensive. Reminded me of a franchise on a railway station. Could have made money with outside tables and chairs and waiting staff. The welcome free toilets did not seem to be looked after during the day, ran out of loo roll in the ladies and needed cleaning during the day. The rubbish bins were over flowing and people were really trying to recycle but it was impossible. Need bigger bins or someone there to empty a during the day. The wall everyone sits on could do with a good scrub.

Slow service and pretty expensive but the cakes were lovely, just what's needed after an 8.5 hour hike
