The food was divine, and the presentation was beautiful. I honestly did not expect to discover such fine cuisine in a tiny village like this. My compliments to the chef. The service was also wonderful.

I am only giving one star as the rating won't let me give no stars. We had an absolutely abysmal meal there last night. Two meals out of four were returned to the kitchen as inedible. The lamb steak was tough and over cooked. Chicken breast was over cooked and as dry as a bone. 'Roast' potatoes were like bullets and only seven and a half between four people. My partner had the steak pie and was ill during the night. Would not recommend anybody to go there.

The food we had was great. Good portion sizes and good quality too. The layout was a bit weird as part of the seating is in the outdoor kit shop nextdoor but don't let that put you off. You can also sit outside and dogs are welcome.

A wonderful dining experience. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and served piping hot. We were celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary and were given some nice extra little celebratory touches to the meal. Big thanks to all the staff for making our evening special.

It has been two days since my partner and I had dinner there, and I'm still dreaming about how good the food was. Chef Angela and her staff are excellent, so much that we are thinking about pilgrimage once a year to her restaurant. Thanks again!

What a lovely restaurant. Simple menu(brilliant) beautifully cooked, nice staff and nice wine. After a day in the magnificent scenery and a dip in the lake wonderful. Could not have been more impressed and a great way to wind down the day.

The food and service here was excellent. I ordered the Grilled sea bass with lemon and butter sauce. It was perfect. I went on to order their dessert- fruit crumble with clotted cream it was so good. Definitely recommend and will come back again.

Lovely freshly cooked food, full of flavour! I had fishcakes to start followed by a fish burger and both have very different flavours. Cheese board was to die for.

Best food in Llanberis - the food in Llanberis is pretty poor all round but Peak is great. After a few days of processed junk this was just what the doctor ordered - delicious and nutritious. If I came again I would exclusively eat here I think. Great food, decent wine menu, decent prices, really nice atmosphere. Thanks Peak restaurant!

Mixed feelingsI have mixed feelings about this place. We ordered, Thai fish chilli cakes, a Chilean Red merlot bottle, a lamb shank, salmon burger in ciabatta bread followed by dessert of the day - Pear Crumble.Thai fish chilli cakes were one of the best I've had in the UK. THE sauce just knocked the ball out of park. 6/5 for that.Than the salmon burger came with ciabatta bread instead of bun and roasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes were great - crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The salmon patty was good. The key missing part of this dish was a dip or sauce or gravy for potatoes and the burger. I got ketchup and use lamb shanks gravy for roasted potato. The lamb shank was okay. It was a hit chewy for us but edible. The disappointed of the day was Pear crumble. It was an over burnt crumble with somewhat stale taste topped with icecream on the top. A complete disaster that took a star away from this review. The service and cutlery need and upgrade. We were provided a box full of low quality of cutlery. It was confusing. I would penalise the restaurant for this but maybe a feedback to get better quality cutlery and serve them like restaurants do. The waiters were polite and nice, hence got a 15% cash tip. A strange part was the wine bottle came opened without a cap. Usually you would open the bottle in front of the customer. Something odd but will overlook for now.All in all, paid £80 for two starters, two mains, a wine bottle and one starter. A bit steep for what we got but Thai fish cake and salmon patty in the burger were delicious and saved other disappointments.Hence mixed feelings
