Lovely food & staff - very efficient service

Great food and friendly atmosphere

Only had dinner here, food was good and service was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet, but we were only in the dining room and not in the bar area. Will be back here again.

Awesome food, and amazing staff. We love it here.

When for evening meal, decor is pleasant and staff were friendly. The food was variable some of the party enjoyed the food some did not also it took quite a while to arrive, this could be as our party was large. Will have to try again with smaller group before final comment is passed.

Absolutely outstanding Sunday lunch! We visited on an extremely wet and windy Sunday afternoon, the pub was warm and cosy inside, the staff very welcoming. The place was very busy and we didn't get our table (booked for 2:30) til 3pm this was no problem, we had a drink in the bar and ordered our food there.And what food, a Sunday lunch to rival some of the best we've had out. Everything was well cooked and full of flavour, beef was especially delicious.As with the main desserts were wonderful, special mention to the excellent cheeseboard 3 really nice cheeses, a very nice chutney and plenty of biscuits.The meal was really good value too, the Sunday lunch main course was £11.50 an absolute bargain in my opinion, very well done Riverside Hotel
