Just had lunch here after a lovely walk along the coastal path to Black Rock beach and back. The establishment is dog friendly inside and out. It is very clean throughout and the staff are all attentive and friendly. The sweet chilli chicken wraps that we had were lovely, tasty and well presented. Highly recommended.

May Bank Holiday weekend and the place was extremely busy so have taken this into a account in my rating.Sat outside under the cover you have a fabulous view of Borth y Gest beach and beyond - unless a van or large 4x4 parks on the roadside, and then you see nothing.Staff very pleasant but waited a good half hour or more before our order taken. Then it was a further long wait for our coffees, which were far from hot, lukewarm actually, when the arrived.Waited a further half hour for our paninis and we even asked if they had forgotten us. I have to say were delicious when they finally arrived but we had well and truly finished our coffees and didn't wish to order more given time it took for our first cup to arrive. My friend had finished and asked for the bill to be told to go to the counter. I stopped eating for a moment to speak to my dog and when I looked up the remnant of my panini and salad had been cleared away. My friend mentioned when paying about the delays and the fact the coffees were cold and was told she could have asked for hot water!!I won't say I won't eat there again but I will be very loathe to, and it definitely won't be during holiday season and Bank Holidays!!

Borth Y Guest is a wonderful spot away from busier Porthmadog. The view as you walk away from the bay along the estuary is stunning. We've visited Seaview Cafe several times. Always attentive service & excellent food.

Good food, lots of choice, cracking views across the bay, lovely staff. Not cheap (£52 for lunch for four adults and a child including one soft drink each), but a very nice place to eat.
