Skippy Fish And Chips in Gwynedd

Got there a few minutes before they closed but they accommodated us with 3 🐟 fish and chips 🍟 plus extras. Took them home to eat and they were delicious! Definitely going back before we head back to the Midlands on Saturday! Thanks Skippy! 👍🏾⭐😁

Skippy's was 👎 however chippy's is 👍Had great service and great chips. Not sure if the owners have changed or the current ones woke up to the awful food. Either way the change is a good one.

Got to say just had fish and chips from chippys tywyn best I have had for years will defantly going back again

Ordered fish and chips at lunch that we're available immediately, had obviously been cooked before hand, not to order. The fish was dry throughout. The chips were pretty anemic, undercooked and cold. Quite expensive, small portions and poorly cooked.

Nicely cooked fish and chips. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Prompt service. Not greasy.

This was called skippys and now called chippy, had fish and chips and the fish was perfect. The staff were fantastic and the environment was top notch. A totally different experience from skippys

1 minute past opening and no cod, plenty of reviews are the same, asked for Peas twice but got curry sauce. However the haddock was good if not especially large,chips also good.

Best chips we've ever had! Just perfect, the blonde lady who served us was so welcoming, having a little jig and sing song to Annie Lennox! Will definitely return here when next In the area! Excellent! 😁

Asked for cod and got haddock. Very greasy or oily. Some chips were under cooked and others were completely hollow and cooked to death. We reheated because of the poorly cooked chips and got 1/4 cup of oil in the tray. Not impressed. It felt as though I was a chore to be served. I am sure the only thing that keeps this shop going is the location. No love in the cooking here. Suspect frying temp is too low. And some bad chip shop habits like not screening the oil between loads. I am sorry for bothering this establishment. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

Just had fish and chips from this premises and i won't bother again, the fish was overcooked and the chips had obviously been fried twice as some of them were burnt. Not cheap either 2 fish, chips, sausage, peas and gravy for £16.00. I would have gladly paid that if they were edible.
