The tavern is a proper pub , bar staff and customers are very friendly and the Guinness is perfect.

This is the local pub our village. It's getting better. The atmosphere here has improved. Friendly and lively crowd on a wet and windy November evening. Standard issue of drinks choices. New landlord has new ideas apparently, so nice to see the place buzzing with a live band performing. These places are disappearing fast, these places need to be cherished and supported. Cheers!¹

A really friendly welcome and accommodating staff. Didn't make you feel like you were out of place or a foreigner 😊. Thank you. Shame England didn't beat Belgium as that would of been the icing on the cake.

On holiday from Devon found this marstons pub!expecting it to be decent place to eat like they are at home!but it's a absulute dive and wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there!
