Super cooked breakfast. All fresh to order, nothing kept warm under lamps.Staff could not do enough for us

Very clean and the staff go out of the way to make sure you have a good stay. Room could do with a little TLC but bathroom clean and modern. Best spot out of all the hotels but no onsite car parking. Breakfast quality and cooked well but a little cold. Overall good value for money

Staff so helpful and friendly.Lovely breakfast, great location . Unfortunately we could not sample the food in the evening due to problems with the fridge but if the breakfast was anything to go by I'm sure it would of been lovely.A definite return

We only used the pub for drinks - clean , beverages were good , pricing is comparable with the area . Would benefit from bar staff that served with a smile and were more welcoming

Called in for lunch, food was great would have given a five star if the bar man had been in a better mood. Think he got out of bed wrong side .

This is a great pub with friendly staff and patrons alike reasonably priced with a great atmosphere I would highly recommend a visit.

Friendly seaside pub, and went in a couple of times and the real ale was consistently good. Plenty of people eating although not enough time to try out the menu.Simple layout, curved long bar and tables, with a back seating section.

Spotlessly clean room and en suite. Beautiful towels; sorely tempted to steal them! Great food albeit from a limited menu and quite high prices. Staff couldn't be more helpful or attentive without being intrusive. The bar area is a little worse for wear but, that is to be expected as the clientele are a very mixed bag, including some boisterous young adults. It makes for a lively, entertaining atmosphere without putting off fogies of our age (69 & 66). Outside of school holidays Barmouth is still lively whilst being affordable.

Rooms very dated with lots of little notes saying don't do this or that.My room was right next to the ventilator for the kitchen, so very noisy until the kitchen closed.The staff were very pleasant and friendly and the food was very good though

Sunday Dinner at the Tal Y Don is the best. Absolutely gorgeous food and lovely staff every time we visit.It's that good we sometimes make the 3 hr journey on a Sunday just for lunch.Would highly recommend
