Tanronnen Inn in Gwynedd

Friendly pub setting in a picturesque village, staff were quick with service and welcoming. Food was only service times were limited (written on chalkboard by entrance) Food was good, especially the broccoli and Stilton soup.

Came here last night for some tea working as a contractorFirst of all no menu ….Whats scribbled on the board as you walk in the foyer is what’s available and it was fairly average and bland £4.00 for a pint of syrupy Pepsi Max sorry the amber warning light came on and £17.50 for Welsh Lamb and Leek pie which was a small slice in a gravy boat type crockery overdone chips one sliced carrot peas like pellets definitely does not justify what I paid ….Won’t be going back !!!!!

Brilliant pub/hotelGreat food, very friendly & set in the beautiful village of Beddgelert.

Proper pub with good beer. Great atmosphere. Staff excellent. Food was really good value for money, make sure you have one of the pies with their chips.

Unfortunately not a very good experience. My friend and I stopped in here this evening for a drink and some snacks. We walked into the small bar area, I sat down while my friend ordered. Two pints, two bags of crisps and two bags of nuts (I think he was charged about £14). Within minutes we had a member of staff telling us we may have to move if they had people wanting to eat... Fair enough, we could move to a smaller table if asked. Then when we had about 1/3 of our drinks left the same lady came back, told us she had people wanting to come in to eat, and we had to leave. There were no small tables available, so we had no choice but to gulp back our drinks while she stood over us.The bar staff were more than happy to take our money for (very expensive) beer and crisps and hadn't told us we'd need to order food, but after we'd paid our money other staff were very quick to tell us we'd probably have to move, and then shortly after asked us to leave before we'd finished our drinks. Disgraceful.

Great meal, friendly staff and pleasant location. Well worth dropping in for a meal or just a pint.

Greeted as I walked in as the owner was going out. He went out of his way to get us a table on a busy Easter evening. The food was lovely and all of the staff were friendly. We'll done.

We left visiting the pub slightly late in our stay in Beddgelert, but very glad we did! Lovely, lovely food, fab service (Yvonne) and felt right at home. Loved it 😋

Overcharged me. Had a meal for two with drinks that cost £36.45. Only when I got my bank statement through later did I realise that they'd charged me £38.45. Poor show.

I’m staying at the Tanronnen Inn for three nights. I’m blown away by the charm of this place and the warm, friendly staff. The bed was really comfy and I had a great sleep. The whole place is spotlessly clean and well maintained.The pub is a delightful place to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink. The beer is superb. The whole place is incredibly charming and rejuvenating. My room has a view over the bridge and river, and of course, Beddgelert is a beautiful place.There is parking on the main road outside of summer season, otherwise there are two car parks in the village - and the pub has its own small car park at the rear.I couldn’t wish for more and I will definitely be coming back to this wonderful place. Next time, I will bring my family.
