Food fresh to order, clean cooking.. Cafe spotless...

Day out in Wales ended up in Bangor, it smelt to good to pass so dropped in. Lovely lady greeted us,took our order a simple 10 mins wait as all good cooked to order. The proofs in the pictures.. Well worth it absolutely 💯 how fish n chips should be.... Try it for yourself!

Great quality food and large portions.

Killer fish and chips. Huge portions, great chips, lush fish. Love their curry sauce. They've got dandelion and burdock. Nice staff, even when it's busy.Lovely bacon rolls, they almost always use butter instead of margarine (I guess sometimes the butter runs out).If you're going be careful because they do close at 5pm, most if not all days of the week, the time everyone finishes work hungry, dinner time, like they're allergic to money or something.

Moved to the area recently and saw the recommendations to this place, so thought I'd give it a try. Good quality fish and chips with a bigger size than I expected, would 100% go again.

The chip shop on the edge of town. Well worth the turnaround, park and walk back. Chips freshly cooked, crisp and light brown , and tasty. Plenty of salt and vinegar - no soggy chips. Polite and quick service. Couldn't have been better. I was offered a fork, I said no thanks, I'll eat them at home, but they were so fresh and crisp I ate them in the car, all of them, hot to the fingers. Just a portion of chips but the best chippy chips I've had for years.

Absolute hidden gem!I’ve tried all the chip shops in Bangor and this is most certainly the best. Delicious fish, succulent and the freshness is immense. Salty, fluffy and crispy chips, Every bite is delicious.Owner/staff are very welcoming and delightful. Most definitely a 10/10 for me!
