Very good carvery, staff excellent, food really good value. Nice atmosphere.

Came here this afternoon with 2 friends. We all had a carvery.I had everything that was offered lol I could hardly hold my plate it was so heavy.Everything was beautifully cooked but the Yorkshire pudding was very hard to eat but was still nice.I didnt have a pudding due to being too stuffed but my friends did and they looked amazing.Staff very friendly too. Will definitely be coming here again.

Unless you have the carvery, we found the menu expensive for what it was. The food was generic and uninteresting. We also waited so long to be served, that we ended up going to the bar to order. The two people we did speak to were very pleasant and polite, but we probably won't be going back.

The table service was great and the food was amazing just quite a long wait for food. all in all great pub

Went Sunday for carvery, booked a table for 1-30 ,good job as it was very busy, nice member of staff showed us to our table ,at to order drinks and food at bar given ticket for carvery. We had a choice of beef,Turkey and gammon and all the veg you could think off everything was great quality. There is a fair selection of beers and traditional pub food if you don't want carvery. We will visit again while here on holiday really enjoyed the food and beer .Excellent staff and friendly. 👍👍

Well an impromt stop as was heading elsewhere , Glad we did though , great place , clean , friendly , pleasant staff and food was great , staying on the island for a week so will be back hopefully if we get time 🙏🏼👍🏻

Turned up on spec, but the staff were great and we got a table knowing we'd only have a certain amount of time. The food is centred around the carvery, which seemed very popular, but wasn't what we wanted at the time. The food we had was good, although I have to say, with hindsight, that the carvery did look to be better value! Pro tip: book a table. Pro tip 2: choose the carvery!

We came for the Sunday carvery. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Carvery was nice but something was missing and we couldn't work out what. Maybe a slightly bigger range of veg (peas and sweetcorn would have been nice). But we enjoyed it and our children ate everything so happy all in all.

This was the roast my partner was served looked like scraps… hard potatoes, dry meat frozen veg. Pretty inedible.

Just had the best roast dinner here. Portion sizes were awesome, three lovely different carved meats, four different vegetables plus three types of potato (roast, boiled, mash), stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy served in its own boat. Can highly recommend. We did book a table to be sure of getting in. Will come again when on the island. 100% Safe distancing throughout. Staff very courteous. Enjoyable experience in a lovely pub with an excellent menu choice.
