The Crown in Gwynedd

My partner and I were staying in Abersoch for the weekend and decided to find a nice Indian to have our evening meal.After seeing the reviews of The Jewel In The Crown, we decided to give it a whirl.It was definitely the right choice!Staff were very friendly and professional - and the food was absolutely gorgeous.We will be visiting Abersoch again in a couple of months & will definitely be returning to eat here again!

We are southerners taking a trip round wales…very fussy when it comes to food. Kept reading reviews on different curry houses and decided to take a chance. Worried it was not going to meet our usual standards only to be blown away!Loved all the food and couldn’t fault anything…amazing amazing food. If we are ever back in this area we will def come back and visit!

Easily one of the very best curry experiences. Everyone on our table loved it. I had the house lamb and cabbage. Delicious. And above all very friendly staff. Food arrived quickly as well, although they were busy with table service and take away orders. Yummmmmmmy!!!

staff are so friendly.food was delicious…we had lamb samosas, shami kebab then lamb biryani, mixed grill, chicken tikka karahi. nan bread was delish too. really enjoyed it

Excellent food. Great service. This place is proving to be the best Indian locally. Well worth a try. You will not be disappointed. Been 4 times. 4 superb meals. No complaints.

The food was not great and the fizzy drinks such as lemonade and cola were flat and cold even with ice. The chicken that was served in the curry’s was a little rubbery but the naan bread was nice

Visited here a couple of weeks ago when on holiday at a caravan site near Pwllheli. The staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing, it was literally the best Indian meal I have ever had. The prices were very reasonable. I'm just gutted that I live 3 hours away from the resteraunt! Should I ever visit Pwllheli again, this place will be the first on my list.
