Fantastic views over Barmouth Bay and Bridge from the lovely outside seating area. Great food: breakfasts are super and the steak sandwich is delicious!

·

Called in for lunch. Sandwiches were delicious and generous portions . Lovely steak and mushroom hot sandwich , I had the ham which was thickly sliced and very tasty. Will definitely call again when we are in Barmouth

Decor is really nice and inviting. I felt the menu was average and when the food came the food was bought in not home made. We had crab cakes and they were tasteless.

Interesting place, the view is lovely, the decor is fun. The food is pretty good and serving all day is a godsend. The staff are friendly and location is good too. Lack of a loo was unexpected but not insurmountable. The prices are a bit honey trap by the sea.....but then it IS a honey trap by the sea. We enjoyed our meal.

Sat for 30 minutes at one of their tables across the road. Nothing to say whether it was table service or order at the bar, either on the menu or on the table, and having bags with me I couldn’t go and ask, or take all my bags in and lose the table. Waitresses beavering away, one looked at me and looked away, same one looked at me a little later and I waved to indicate I was ready to order. Nothing. In the end a table came free at Isis a bit further along. Excellent service there and the wine was considerably less too. And I don’t want to spend even a penny when the service has been bad. It’s trading on its location.

Only spent a few days in Barmouth but went here twice for breakfast as its so lovely. The food was amazing from the full English to the breakfast sandwiches we had. Its the best hazelnut latte with soya milk I've ever had so much better than Costa and nice to see a little independent place catering to all needs/wants. Service is excellent, food is delicious and the building itself is amazing!

Lovely jam and cream scones. Unfortunately you can only have an alcoholic drink if you purchase a meal.

I ordered crab fish cakes with plenty of salad. Salad was ok, but the fish cakes were really unpleasant, felt sick straight after. No toilet facilities. Tables were really sticky. I've got to admit the chips were fine, out of all the food we've ordered. Scampi were not cooked properly either.

Queue wasn’t long for a Sunday morning. We showed up at 10 and only waited about 10 minutes. The breakfast came out quickly and was great. Great views of the water while sitting outside.

Nice little café sat on the estuary. Cross the bridge from Fairbourne (beware of the Troll - oh I mean toll) and here is a short walk towards the harbour. Be aware this is not a pub and you'll have to order food to purchase alcohol.Lovely staff and a beautiful Grade II listed building. As such there are no toilets on site but there are some close by. Very clean in these COVID times.
