Pizzas were really disappointing when we visited recently. Definitely not ‘hand rolled’ as they’re advertised on the menu. The pizza was much better when we visited in December. Its still an alright spot to have a beer and watch the sport.

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday evening. Weather was good so we were able to sit outside in the large beer garden. They had a large screen tv setup showing the sport too which was good. The place was busy and had a good atmosphere. Mix of both locals and tourists come to see Snowdonia. The only thing that let it down as the food. 8 of us ate and our food was pretty mixed but generally could have been better. It just felt a bit like it had been slapped on a plate. Portion sizes were not the same (2 people had lamb shank and both got different size lambs and then the smaller one had a bunch of extra potatoes to make up for it.) Also the pizza we had was burnt.I am sure it was a one off and if I am in the area again I will be back if for nothing else then the good drinks and garden

Came here for our last tea\evening meal of our holiday as a family and the whole experience was abysmal! The food was either rather under cooked or severely over cooked, the place was basically accommodating unnecessary fast service food. We complained to the shift manager but we were met with a care free whistle as he walked off with our burnt meals! And with no explanation or apology insight. But the other staff were kind and sympathetic with our experience but had no support from the manager on shift. 100% would not recommend!

Lots of space to sit, even if you want a quieter spot. Decent menu, but the vegan option wasn’t very exciting. Prices were fine, service was friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE!On arrival we were checked in and left to find our rooms, we discovered soon after that in one room the toilet didn’t work and was still dirty from the last person who had used it! (Upset stomach for sure). When we addressed this with the manager he simply replied oh yes well the plumber was supposed to arrive before you got here but didn’t so it was either leave it how it was and not tell you until you arrive or cancel your booking. Not even an apology! He then tried to redeem himself by offering 1 x free pizza and 1 x free bowl of chips… for 4 people!! Not even a free meal each, they had to share it! Now understandably this didn’t go down well so we complained and they then threatened to kick us out. On top of this one of our guests suffers from seizures so she called ahead of our arrival to ask if she can bring her medical dog, they point blank refused even though they advertise as being dog friendly. My friend tried to explain her dog is to help her and prevent seizures from happening but they wouldn’t listen and simply replied ‘those are our rules’. I’m addition my shower didn’t have a curtain or door so our floor was flooded, the mattresses are ridiculously thin and you can feel the springs through them, the beds were broken and the bed sheets hadn’t even been cleaned. I could honestly write for days about how poor the service and communication was. Please save your money and never stay here.

Basic but exactly what we needed. Used the fire in the back garden with wood provided and turned a great weekend into fabulous memories for the group. Staff very accommodating even when one of our party was very fussy with a meal. Would recommend.

The food was good and portions were large. The staff were very friendly.Ladies toilets could do with a good clean. Otherwise a good pub. We will definitely be going again.

location was the only thing that's good about this place, i was part of a group of 24 and not a single one of us had a good experience. there was an endless list of issues from broken beds, broken & dirty toilets, unclean showers, unclean tables, lack of consideration for guests ( this resulted in some of the group to sleep on the floor) plus health and safety issues ( including mould in showers and bedrooms, no one qualified in basic first aid and dorm doors that wouldn't lock ) . The least they can do is supply a kettle and toaster !I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Didn't really look much like the pictures on the website, however the team were very nice and helpful.Unfortunately our food did take nearly an hour and a half to come out and all at different times. We weren't particularly in a rush. But the food was nice when it did come out!

Good value for money and a nice roomy environment with plenty of seating. Pizza was big and left me stuffed! A good couple of vegetarian options. 1 IPA on offer at the time. Staff behind the bar didn't seem very happy/jovial but the staff serving the food to the tables were very nice and friendly. Big TV on showing the football which was good. It didn't give me a warm and friendly vibe but I would go again.
