Very nice, intimate and cozy pub. Partner had spicy chicken with Herbie's, I had the salmon. Food was cooked lovely. The veg and potatoes very nice. Cheesecake was light and tasty. My only moan, my cherry pie although very nice literally had 2 cherries in it. The rest was syrup/Jam.

Such an astonishingly beautiful pub. The decor was a beguiling and the lasagne was moreish. The views from the external booths are stupendous, however, take the time to have a drink inside too.

My favourite pub in the country!Amazing atmosphere inside, very welcoming and friendly staff, incredible food.P.S. My daughter is always absolutely mystified by the well/spring and is pretty sure fairies live there...

Sat outside across the road from the bar. Nice open area and great views in the sun. Nice arrangement outside the bar taking orders so you didn't clamber to the inside bar and have to navigate out with trays. Took orders quickly but took about 5 minutes before it turned up. There was a few in the queue with large orders though before me. The outdoor area was keep relatively clean, the staff came round cleaning up any spilled food and empty plastic glasses quite often. Notes on tables for no food to be consumed. I assume this is as they don't serve food outside and want the tables for their patrons not local F&C shops. This is at 13.30 during the Easter bank holiday so probably at its busiest and still coping without too much waiting around for drinks. £9.60 for a pint of Guinness and sweet cider. Was definitely not the cheapest drink in town (can be bought for less than £8 elsewhere) but it definitely had a more pleasent drinking environment.

We recently had dinner after booking it in advance. I would have given 5 stars as the food was great - we had fillet steak, which were really good, probably in my top 5 steaks ever. What really let us down and dropped the rating was the fact that at no point had anyone mentioned that we would have the table for such a short amount of time. We arrived at 7pm, ordered by 7:10pm, waited until 7:40 for them to arrive (we had a drink and chatted whilst waiting, so no rush). We finished eating at 8pm, they came and took the plates and said “You need to be off the table by 8:30” and walked away. It suddenly felt like they’ve taken some money and wanted us off the table. We weren’t asked if we wanted any dessert or another drink, they literally abandoned us, so we could put our coats on, pay the bill and and leave. There were other tables available too, even tables where we could have sat and had another drink, but nothing more was said. We eventually managed to get hold of someone to order a pudding, this arrived when we had 8 minutes left on the table, so we got it to takeaway. Needless to say it was ok. It wouldn’t have been an issue to leave the table after 90 minutes if we knew in advance and that service would have been quicker and friendlier. 90 minutes does seem really short compared to other restaurants though. What started as a lovely relaxing evening ended up being rushed and feeling unwelcoming.

Fabulous place in a gorgeous town. Amazing food, great decor... with an extra special Halloween twist. Even the dog tried to get in on the action, if only he mastered the tail! Love that dogs are welcome, would highly recommend and have already visited multiple times and will be back! Couldn't fault The Last Inn, well done guys! 👏

Food and staff were amazing. The decor was outstanding and the atmosphere was very welcoming. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!!

It's no wonder why this quaint location is so popular, we were so lucky to squeeze in with only a 5 minute wait. The food was beautifully cooked (I had the steak and Stilton sub) the king prawn and avocado sub was equally as impressive. The view (if you're lucky enough to get a window seat) is just lovely.Light music in the background, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The head of house worked his butt off whilst we were there to ensure everyone was as happy as they could be. Even people with an hour wait were satisfied with a drinks table whilst they waited. Highly recommend this venue, maybe book in advance as people turned away appeared more than disappointed.
