Had a lovely 2 night stay for son's graduation.A warm welcome. Nicely cooked breakfast. Room 9 clean and comfortable. Will definitely visit the hotel again.Matt the manager very helpful and friendly.

Excellent venue,place to stay. We took 2 bicycles, they stored in the washing room for us . Twin room, the decor and bathroom was dated but we paid £35 each including a cooked breakfast in a good location close to Bangor centre in May. Had a few drinks in the bar below, good student style vibes. Cheap but good selection of drinks and live sport. Breakfast nice. I would recommend this place for people wanting to experience the nearby adventures and outdoors. Service from staff very friendly.

We were made welcome as soon as we arrived and the member of staff on duty was extremely helpful and pleasant. Room 9 was spacious with a fantastic view of the sunset over the Menai Staits. Recommended.

Very dated. Shower tiny hardly room to get in and out. Rooms not cleaned to a sufficient standard. Menu not great. I don't regard "Chips and Cheese" as a light bite !

Good location near the University and short walk to the beach. Our room (9) was big with a good view over the Menai but really could do with a clean. A previous guest had written in the dust on the TV stand which was still there. Carpets needed vacuuming. Yes, the furnishings were shabby but comfortable but a run over with the vacuum is a must and the toilet looked like it hadn't had a clean around the seat/rim. The door between the hotel and the bar downstairs was filthy...Refurbing a hotel is expensive, I get that but this simple cleaning stuff is easy to get right! Breakfast was good and the staff were really friendly there. I would return but hope they can get on board with the cleaning a bit more.

I gave five stars as it as a great vibe and good parking ,breakfast was served and was great ,rooms dated overall good ,if you get chance go see the victoriana pier it's 15 mins walk 🚶‍♂️

Uncomfortable bed, TV was a joke, my phone has a bigger screen, dirty carpets all over. However customer service was brilliant

Amazing hotel and bar, Matt the manager is fantastic, we love room 9, it's beautiful, comfy, huge and amazing views. Our 2 dogs are made so welcome.(thank you) The chef is a lovely character and the breakfast amazing. We missed. Holly and Chris on this visit but will be going back soon... Absolutely love love love this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Universal key for resident entrance then private key for the room. No maid service during stay due to covid. I was on top floor and really liked the views of the mountains. Breakfast was included and was very nice .x overall good stay and would definitely recommend.
