The Old Glan in Gwynedd

What amazing food. Had the braised steak which was mouth watering and the meat fell apart so easily. My partner had the bbq, bacon and cheese topped chicken breast which was so flavousome. Chips, veg and onion rings all on point too. Lovely pub, would highly recommend.

This place is baaad 🐐 don't goat inn.No kidding, had an awful meal here. Vegetable linguini was somehow sweet like a dessert and the battered fish was far from crispy (see photo attached). Don't let the image fool you, the thing is propped up by a dish of mushies. Kudos to the staff for taking the dessert off the bill (vegetable linguini).Not all bad though. The free bread basket was a classy touch 👌2 stars.

Absolutely beautiful meal, will definitely be returning in January! Thank you so much for making my last night in Wales perfect. The braised lamb just melted in the mouth and the creme brulee was out of this world. Highly impressed and would happily recommend for somewhere special to go.

Absolutely lovely Sunday lunch. Friendly staff, great you with a smile. Very nice ambience with a welcoming cozy feel. Meal was excellent, tasty and plenty. Price excellent for a 3 course meal and a coffee. Highly recommended.

Good food, though we did wait 3/4 hour for it! Staff plesant. Will visit again. I had the fish and chips...lovely

Quite a while since I visited The Goat and cannot think why. Lunchtime dinning area was full which is a good sign and the meal was really enjoyable. Staff friendly and attentive. Wont leave it so long til, next time.Recommend

We had a large family meal here. They took a large order and got everything right.Although he portions where small and when we wanted dessert, half of the dessert options where not available so most of us didn't get a dessert.Also it is VERY warm in there so had to sit outside for a little while to stop feeling sick.The staff where polite and helpful and really kind.Would recommend as there is a lovely place for the children to play outside and very clean and tidy

Really good food. More than what we expected with a very friendly service. Lovely lemon cheesecake. Hot food just what you need with a gale force when we visited. Good beer

This is a beautiful, traditional country pub with wood beams and built from stone. Good selections of drinks especially the unicorn Ale for myself and pink gin for the better half. The food was exceptional from start to finish, and the service was attentive but not over the top. Will definitely return to this great all around experience.
