We had 2 meals here whilst on holiday and they were very tasty and plenty of it. Would definitely go again

No knowledge of accommodation - meeting point at end of day. Friendly bar and locals. Landlord noticed I had been waiting in car outside. Will visit Again!

Stopped for a coffee. Lovely, friendly staff, very helpful. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful pub with a great atmosphere. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The food is great value for money, delicious and the portion sizes do not disappoint! It caters for both indoor and outdoor seating areas and is dog friendly and child friendly.... but mostly dog friendly! HahaI would recommend visiting here if you are visiting the area or just passing through.

A really welcoming pub which serves delicious food , much of which is locally sourced and homemade. The bar staff and locals are really friendly and knowledgeable about the area. There’s a pool table, a snug with a roaring fire, a dining area and outdoor seating . Just behind it is a lovely freshwater stream. Highly recommend . We had a fabulous time .

We were there for a wake, the staff were lovely, l noticed that the buffet was topped up all the time/ food was nice, obviously freshly made. Unfortunately we were driving but they kept us topped up with plenty of coffee.

Warm friendly pub. Good food. (10oz steak recommend) . Home made pies fantastic too. Great real ales. Dog friendly. Will definitely go back again.

We are sitting here devouring our absolutely delicious puddings and I feel compelled to write a review. The food here is amazing! It’s locally sourced and very generous in portion and flavour, but extremely reasonably priced! The pub is family run and all the staff are so friendly it certainly gives it a family feel: laid back but so helpful and efficient. Have just finished my amaaazing Jammy dodger cheesecake (although the homemade bread and butter pudding my partner had was equally as delicious!) Really, you have to come here, it’s an absolute gem!

Really nice pub that I wish we'd visited more often and had dinner there too. We just popped in for a quick drink after a walk in the hills and ended up playing pool all afternoon. Very friendly staff and met some lovely locals (and the biggest dog I've ever seen)!

Nice little pub with a bear garden area to drink outside.Staff was friendly and seemed like a family run pub.Free car park, but seemed a bit small for size of the pub, when we was leaving there was a car waiting for a spot.Food was really good with good portions. My Pepsi was on tap and was flat and not cold, which isn't great for a boiling hot day.Overall good pub would go again.
