This hotel was a lovely hotel in a really good central location. The food and service was very good and gardens was lovely to relax in the evening. The only thing is I would say it could do with a good clean. The winfows were dirty inside and out, the carpets were also quite dirty. Apart from that we had a really nice stay. Was good value for money

Good location, parking facilities, and very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. But the 3 rooms shown to us were very basic, and NOTHING like the online photos! Very old, dated, worn and cramped. Bed was not comfortable, dipped and lumpy. Carpet was thin/worn and not clean. Bath was small and very unsafe. Even after using the rubber mat in the bath tub, myself and the wife both slipped multiple times, and my wife suffered a nasty fall causing two bruises to her chest and arm. We are fit and young/health adults!

My room is large clean and luxurious with biscuits, crisps, tea and coffee sadly no hot chocolate or herbal tea. The view from both my windows is stunning. My parents are also staying, their view is if a wall and their room small but comfortable. The food was OK, nothing special but enabled. Looking forward to breakfast, they have branded sauce here not decanted cheap stuff, that's got to be a good sign.... I would stay again but would like a mobility room with taller toilets and roll into showers/wet room. Staff are nice and friendly.

Staff very attentive and always helpful. One particular manager went out of his way to see my vegetarian friend had a better meal than was on menu. Plenty of well cooked food simple menus to deal with the numbers at the hotel. Clean rooms efficient shower. Beautiful grounds and walks nearby

Little bit out of date hotel. But very clean room (unfortunately the bed was too soft to my like), food was delicious too. Very good service in general, great location easy walk to the Llanberis track. All in all this is very good 2🌟 I highly recommend

Stayed here to climb Snowdon. Great location but hotel is a bit dated. Carpets were really dirty in the room. Cupboard smelt like it hadn't been opened or cleaned in years.. food was good. Breakfast was usual fry up, cereal and toast..

·

Amazing location with neat and clean rooms and toilets.Stayed for one night with a group of 9 people.Ample parking space and good breakfast as well.Highly recommended.

We stayed three nights in this comfortable hotel. We had a family room which was quite spacious and easily accommodated all our gear. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was serviced every day.The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. We also ate dinner in the bar for two nights and the food was delicious.

We stopped at the hotel as a group of 4 for some food after a long day climbing Snowdon. The food was delicious, served quickly and definitely what we needed before our drive home. The hotel was happy to accommodate us for food only despite not having a reservation (although we did feel majorly under dressed). It's a very nice venue, staff where polite and helpful. Obviously didn't see the rooms so not sure how the 'hotel experience' measures up to the food but from what I saw I wouldn't hesitate to stay here if needed.

Really good hotel in a great location. Good food and excellent staff. Though it is three star I think it should be higher rated. Too few lifts could be a problem for older or infirm people.
