We had a wonderful time. Staff were so helpful and really pleasant too. Food was outstanding. Even gave my little wired haired dachshund cut up sausage for breakfast free of charge. Many thanks to Zoe for all her help getting us bookedin after The Royal Goat having to cancel our booking. Also to the lady who served our breakfast. Amazingly helpful calm and pleasant. We will definitely be returning. 👍Kind regardsBarbara

We were fortunate enough to eat here several times. The staff and pub both inside and out are great, the beers on tap fabulous after a long day as is the food, just superb. Thank you for a wonderful week.Cheers Dave.

Lovely food, really nice friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Even gave my grumpy dog some biscuits to win her over 😁

Went here for food. Overpriced. Not very good food. Staff kept forgetting our drinks orders. And after about 9 o'clock we had to sit outside as it was last orders. There are better places in the village.

Recently stayed in here for a few days. Had a lovely welcome from Niaomi and she was so helpful throughout the stay. Our room was lovely and the views from our window were stunning. Parking was a slight issue, I parked up the road as the hotel carpark was full . I believe they do advise this as well.Location is excellent as its a few miles from Snowden itself but also its easy to travel to other towns and villages north and south ie Conwy and Portmerian.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Karen

Lovely hotel - rooms were very nice. My daughter and I stayed in a room with twin double beds. Great place to explore the cute little town of Beddgelert. Convenient to have car park in the back of the hotel. Great location to explore/hike/climb Snowdon. Be warned that Pen Y Pass now ONLY has reserved parking (pay/reserve ahead) but you can park on the roadside at the turn (which adds a mile to the hike/climb) - though that pay meter only takes coins. The hotel gave me a late checkout at noon, which let me get back from my hike and clean up. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was really tasty (I had the Welsh lamb stew - though dish was a bit on the small side - I was starving!).

My wife and I stayed here for two nights after a number of recommendations from our friends. Upon arrival we were shown to a fantastic room by the very helpful staff and made to feel very welcome. The food, service and location of the Saracens head is excellent

Popped in for a drink..was told were could only sit down if we were eating as they were fully booked...which is clearly not true because we could have had a table to eat if we wanted. We were told we could sit outside which we did. The pub had several empty tables and could have said we could sit at a table if we left by a certain time, which many places do run sucessfully. In the 40 minutes we sat outside only 1 family arrived for food. Odd, missed out on a lot of business as people were turned away. Drinks were standard, Ale was nice.

Don’t bother. Don’t bother working here either, they’ll use you for as many hours but then claim you didn’t do them so they don’t have to pay you, these people do not pay their staff properly. Its actually a disgrace yet they find no fault with it. Maybe it should be run by someone who knows how to run a business. The rooms are out dated and look nothing like the pictures, sockets are hanging off, carpet smells of dog. Just an honest review really, clearly needs renovating downstairs as it looks so shabby, miserable and dark. Definitely find a b&b if I were you. This review will surely be removed as they know it’s all true.
