Missed food as they stop at 2pm. Which I thought was quite early. Ordered drinks sat at a big table by the door. Very sticky to the touch, not pleasant.

We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday night but managed to squeeze in at 6.30pm..... had my first gammon steak in ages and a lasagne....both were good and well cooked

Just went for a meal so can't vouch for the rooms, but if they're anything like the downstairs space they'll be lovely! Excellent meal - 3 of us had steak & ale pie (packed with beautifully tender meat), lamb burger (really delicious with fab chips) and gammon steak (the thickest I've ever seen). Brilliant service and really decent price (menu can be found on their Facebook page).

Absolutely brilliant place!!! We went last week whilst on our holiday nearby as we needed somewhere that took dogs and kids. The staff were so lovely and friendly and brought over a dog bowl straight away. They were polite, friendly and welcoming with us adults and the children. When the food arrived we we all so happy with it, nice big portions of home cooked food and it all tasted amazing! Lots of happy smiles from everyone. Also lots of veggie options if vegetarian. It was that good we went back the next day too 👌🏻Other great points were the big large tables that seated us all with plenty of room (4 adults and two kids) rather than pushing smaller tables together. But would have catered for more than this. And also the beautiful outdoor area if the weather was nice enough. Also there was a kids play area which the kids enjoyed.Would highly recommend and definitely go back again next time we are back over that way on holiday! Brilliant pub!

only had a drink in garden but lovely setting and good play area for children. menu looked good pub fare will go back and try it. Barmaid was exceptionally easant and helpful especially when grandchild got a splinter 👍No hesitation in recommending this pub. An update we returned to the Ship in the evening and had a meal, Thursday is Steak night, which some of us took advantage of Everything was excellant, the lady who served us was particularly helpful. So once again have no hesitation in recommending this pub

Great little village pub. Dined in twice and the service was excellent, the food was fantastic. Really good, homemade food. Highly recommended for a meal or drinks. The ribs were amazing, but not for the faint hearted

We had a meal, which was very well presented, very tasty made with good quality ingredients. Good portions and good value for money. Would return when back in the area.

Called in for Sunday lunch. Nice pub with friendly helpful staff. Best roast dinner we have had for a long time with generous portions. Tasty food and cooked to perfection.
