A good choice in the tea room rectangle. Nice panini. Excellent scones! But random on opening days :)

I rarely complain. But we were waiting ages for service, we were given cold hot chocolates. My mother ordered Welsh rarebit and it was only cheese on toast with a little bit of bacon, not what it should have been,. And the soup I was given was also cold. Wouldn't go again.

We visited this tea room 4 years ago on our first trip to Barmouth. 4 years later it is still amazing. Highly recommend the paninis. Also a good range of kids food available.

Went in for tea and scones. I thought giant might be too much so had one to share but got an other when saw size but it was a normal size to me from manchester. Beautiful warm.butter. Jam. And clotted cream. Pot of tea for two with extra water served in nice tea cups. Served by a very pleasant lady. Which made it better for me!

I honestly can't tell if the terrible grumpy service is all part of the theme. No smiles, please or thank you, things just plonked down. The tables were wet and dirty, the seating small and cramped, the plates, cups, cutlery etc is old but not in a nice way. The menu offers GIANT scone but they are rather average, over heated in a microwave and not worth the money. The soup was nice though and the kids cottage pie went down nice. But honestly i would avoid this place, there are plenty of other places to choose from in the area.

Perfect for a spot of lunch. Good value for money and pleasant staff. My 8 year old lad loved the spaghetti bolognese!

Not approached within 10 minutes, caught few looks, but not even "hello" or "just a moment". Left not served. Strange, these people must be reading similar reviews about themselves over and over again, but never try to improve...

Really nice food. The children's spaghetti Bolognese got a 6 thumbs up award by our six year old daughter so it must have been pretty special as she does not give them lightly.
