Very friendly pub with a nice combination of locals and visitors. Good selection of beer at reasonable prices. The menu had a lot of varied choices. We had the pork belly and chilli beef which were both delicious.

If you're in Dolgellau and like a drink you should visit the Torrent. A wonderful range of beers on sale and you used to be able to get a superb meal here, not at the moment unfortunately. When I plan our tour of this areas golf courses we stay just up the road and I usually try and put the Torrent on our schedule, 12 blokes with a thirst to quench!

The food and the service in this venue is amazing the Garlic bread is out of this world. All the staff were helpful and couldn't do enough for you.

Decent beer and good service. Besides there been a pandemic on it would be nice to have some soap in the toilets and something to dry your hands on.

Had a drink and watched the football. Deceptively large pub with lots of rooms matched by big tvs in every one (I think) Quiet it was not, but busy it was!!

Luckily we found it was curry night when we called in here on the off chance that they did food. Wow! What a fantastic meal. It started with a platter of mixed starters. The choice of curries was extensive as was the choice of the 2 side dishes that came with the meal. Also we were served with 2 nan breads. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and efficient. We will definitely come again when we are next in the area.

What a fabulous little pub. Food amazing better than some restaurants I've been to. Staff lovely and friendly and our dog really enjoyed the sausage and a lie by fire.
