Very clean tables and evidently fairly recently decorated pub, but at just after 4pm on a weekday afternoon a group of local gents in there were very noisy and got louder and more offensive the more they drank. Bit off putting really.

Great little pub with a great vibe, football shown on a large screen in one area, seating in another and a pool room in another! Will be visiting again surely.

Friendly staff, tables wiped down after customers left ready for next to arrive.Good selection of beer.

As a visitor to the town, I popped in with my children for a quick drink. I was hoping to get something to eat but, sadly, food is not served here. The beer was nice (Purple Moose) and the lady at the bar was friendly and nice. My only slightly negative observation was that there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, presumably blowing in from wherever the smoking area is.On a more positive note, there was a TV which was showing Olympic highlights.I'm sure I'll visit again.

Very easy covid safe place with tables of upto four divided from the next by screens. This is safer than the Welsh government rule for a max six

Great to go back inside and enjoy there warm and friendly banter all smart and clean can't wait to have one of there Sunday lunches .

Lovely new decor since my last visit, staff always friendly and welcoming and the pub was busy which was great to see. Beer well kept and reasonable prices.
