I was apaulled at the attitude of the staff. My family live opposite and my Aunt passed away a couple of days ago. 3 of us walked over to have a toast to my loving Aunt. We were treated like 2nd class citizens and told we could not have a drink in the garden albeit plenty of tables and we were ushered out with people watching out of the window I will never recommend this place again. Such a sad time to be treated so awfully. Disgraceful

Decent meal. Old fashioned ambience, but maybe that's not a bad thing.

·

Amazing food. Truly recommend and will be back again. The staff were the best too. Attentive and friendly

I have been here many times. It is the best resteraunt in the area with amazing staff.

Fantastic in every way. We received a warm welcome even when arriving before they officially opened for business. Service & FOOD were outstanding and the location was just amazing, the outside terrace is a perfect setting to spend time with friends or family drinking in the scenery. Cant rate this place highly enough....would give it 6 stars if I could!

Went to celebrate a 60 th birthday and had informed them several times that it was a special occasion. Not once did they acknowledge the fact that it was a special occasion and the service was very slow and we had to ask for everything ( menus, drinks , etc)Disappointing

The food is outstanding & the venue is superb. All the staff are friendly & service with a smile. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch👌🏻❤

Gorgeous location, lovely old building, the staff are fantastic and the food is second to none! I wish I had taken photos! But I was too busy enjoying myself. Nevermind - it is an excuse to go back again! The food was amazing but I have to recommend the Chateaubriand in particular. The steak just melted in the mouth!Well worth a trip - seems to be a bit of a well kept secret as I work in Porthmadog and a lot of my colleagues didn't know about it.It isn't cheap but you definitely get your money's worth! We are saving up to go back again as we speak!!!
