Wal in Gwynedd

Bobby, Tara and I had an amazing experience. We will definitely return.The vegan and vegetarian breakfast was delicious, reasonably priced with good portins.Heafen our waiter was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. He shared with us the history of the Wal and gave us tips on how to get around. He also consented to us doing a video. Just awesome! Cannot recommend enough. Be sure to say hi to Haefen for us for his heavenly service and give him a special tip.😞 I started eating before taking a photo. Below is a photo of Tara outside the Wal/ Wall in English.

Good food! Mushroom stroganoff was lovely. Staff positive and attentive though maybe not the most informed. We had a great experience here and are grateful they were able to seat us without a reservation.

Cosy restaurant with friendly, prompt, service. We both ordered sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. This came with a large mushroom and chips. The meals were lovely. Highly recommended.

Great dog friendly cafe. We called to Caernarfon on our way back from North Wales. The town was deserted but thankfully this cafe was open. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Glad we discovered it.

Very attentive to our veggie, vegan and gf requests. Wonderful breakfast incl gf toast and Glamorgan sausages. They even came and refilled my coffee for free. Friendly staff who I can’t thank enough. Attached is a menu - Feb 2022

Wonderful food and good service. Our portions were big and we struggled to finish off the seafood linguine, chicken fillet and pizza between the 3 of us.. Would definitely return again.

Loved this placeStumbled upon it when walking through to town. They are dog friendly and the portions are great.The staff are so nice and the cafe itself is really nice.

Convinient location and delicious food!!! They serve all day breakfast and thats what we required after a long hike up on Snowdon Mountain. We ordered their vegetarian full breakfast and coronation Chicken sandwich toasted with extra greens and Welch cheese. Yummy!!! Breakfast was spot on with huge servings and tasty items. Coronation chicken sandwich tasted amazing. They have reduced menu for now but ot had plenty of options. Customer service was 5 stars as well. Highly recommended the place if you're visiting the castle or just looking for a new place to eat out. Enjoy!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place by chance on a rainy day out in Carnarfon. We had a great lunch - me the full Welsh, she a sausage sandwich. You might consider these dishes to be standard cafe fare but the care taken to source local ingredients really make the dishes stand out in terms of flavour. Oh and the staff were friendly to boot. Would definitely visit again on another trip to the town.
