Probably the warmest welcome in all of Wales, lovely people. Breakfast very good too, our only issue really was the room was very small for the price we paid. Would make sure we had a different room next time.

Heaps of potential, but so very dated and lacking quality and cleanliness.Initially we walked into an empty hotel, and found staff in the empty bar to check us in.The beers from the pumps all tasted off.The menu looked promising, though it had all obviously just been microwaved. The room itself was tidy, though in desperate need of renovation 10 years ago.The bed was broken, towels were dirty and stained, the bathroom was borderline unusable- too much to list here.Staff seemed nice enough, until we asked to leave a day earlier with 48 hours notice, we were told that "...you've paid in full, you can leave when you like".Check out the Ship Inn a short walk down the road if you're in need for food, drink and atmosphere.

We went on a Saturday lunch time to find food as the local pub was shut. The staff were most helpful, the food was good and prompt. The restaurant is open 12-2pm. Its a bit tucked out of the way, but was worth the seeking out

Excellent location.A wonderful place to take a break from the bustle of the city and travel. I guess the main business is restaurant's.Halls/rooms are settled for this.I also believe that this place can be rented for festive events. On a summer evening, after a hot day, you can spend in the Orchard by the main building, contemplating the open landscape with the mountain in the distance. The room I was staying in suited my needs. Not bad for single traveller. Freshly refurbished and I guessing the process in progress still... The new entrance door will be fitted for each room.Onwer welcoming guests.Lovely people!!!Lovely place!Definitely would stay again!

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, warm and newly decorated, the shower particularly good, plenty of hot water and a great power shower. An extremely comfortable bed and a delicious, generously portioned, cooked breakfast in the morning. Plenty of parking, beautiful part of the country. Enjoyed our stay!

A great range of alcoholic beverages and the most delicious Irish coffees I have ever had. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Went for a Wedding reception. It was very well done. Food was excellent. Bar staff didn't know what JD and coke was though.

My dog and I were made very welcome. The room had recently been refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. I would happily recommend this hotel and will be booking to stay there again myself in the future. As a dog owner I appreciated the secure setting that meant I was happy to leave my dog in the car ( in a cage with the tailgate open!).
