This place is about 40 miles from where I live but I pass it regularly when I'm out on the road doing my deliveries and I've always thought it looked like a nice place to go for a meal, it always seems to be fairly busy. Today is the first time I've actually been inside, I went for a Father's Day meal with my wife, one of my sons and his partner and three of my grandchildren, and we had a very good time. The staff were very nice and welcoming, there was a nice atmosphere there and the food was lovely. My grandchildren enjoyed themselves in the outdoor play area too. I'll definitely be going again.

Great food, great service, large outdoor play area for kids. Lots of dog friendly seating inside. It does get busy at the weekend so if wanting to sit inside and eat its worth reserving a table but you'd be fine during the week to just turn up.

Best pub/restaurant we've been to since moving to the area: so glad we found it. Staff is wonderful - friendly, attentive, efficient, food is exceptional, price is more than reasonable especially for those of us used to prices on the south coast, restaurant is clean, comfortable, sociable (ie not so noisy we couldn't hear each other speak!). Wish I couldn't recommend it so highly in case it gets too much busier!!

Excellent family friendly pub. Great beer garden and nice and clean inside. Staff were really friendly and polite. The food was very good, good portions and service was efficient. Dog friendly and we appreciated the bowl of water brought out for our dog. Excellent experience overall and would definitely return again. Thankyou

Arrived with 8 of my friends without booking but we were seated at a table who was running late, the staff were so lovely and caring. Food was brilliant (I had the beetroot and goats cheese salad with candied walnuts £14 and it was wonderful!). My friends loved their food and drinks aswell.

Called in advance to book a table for 4 and a table for 3. We were advised that they have z strict policy of one dog per table. No problem as we havd one dog per family. Advised that we didn't need to make a reservation. On arrival we were told that outside service wax not possible due to staff shortages, so we went to go into the pub.The server who greeted us, was clearly put out by our arrival and went about huffing and puffing ax we didn't have a reservation. She said that we must gave called your head office. We'll that's not our mistake, but none the less she didn't need to be do offhand about it.She went off to check if we could come in, during her time away from us we decided to leave anyway and go to the excellent and much more welcoming 'The Cliffs' nearby. Needless to say this place will forever be off our list. Good luck if your employees treat all visitors like this. Our advice, avoid and go to The Cliffs

Great pub that looks to recently of been refurbished all staff made us feel very welcome including our dog (which was given a sausage from the staff so certainly gets his wagg of approval). Food was great came quickly and hot. Nice outside play area and seating outside too to enjoy when the sun is shining. Will definitely return when in the area. Overall 10/10 Well done to all the staff. Ps recommend the the homemade pizzas 🍕 oh and the chunky chips.

Just a quick pint but very friendly staff, had a try of a guest ale and sat outside to enjoy the weather and view, but only just as inside looked lovely too. Looks like a good menu too. Good sized car park, really, all-round great pub, look forward to going back

Great pub in a fab location. Good selection of drinks and the food was delicious and beautifully presented and as it was also dog friendly, we were able to bring our well-behaved dog in with us. Staff were very friendly and spoke Welsh, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended. Bwyty a tafarn o safon uchel iawn, ardderchog!

Such a great place. Super friendly and helpful staff, even managed to get us a table on a Friday without a booking (though definitely book in advance). Dog friendly, in fact our dog got as good treatment as we did. Food was amazing
