Y Garth in Gwynedd

We went for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. We chose roast lamb which was so tender it melted in the mouth. The service was quick and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasant change to eat without a musical soundtrack. This ranks as one of the best Sunday lunches we have had. We shall return.

We wanted to go somewhere nice for my mother in law's birthday. We found Y Garth online and were keen to go based on the pictures and reviews. Our expectations were definitely met by the experience. A beautiful location with fabulous views from the windows. The food was really tasty and looked great. However the stars of the night were Carol and Hazel. They were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Allergen concerns were addressed. Exceptional service and really friendly with our 2 daughters. I would definitely recommend and will visit again. Thank you. You made a birthday meal a real treat! x x x x

We had visitors who we wanted to take for lunch and I rang the restaurant to make sure they were open after lockdown. They said they were and so eight of us trundled along.It was a fab lunch, food was hot and plenty. Service was quick and polite. Overall we had a lovely time, no rushing us to get out it was really enjoyable. Well done to staff we shall be back!

We were not amazed by the food quality. Was not bad but was not really good either. Service is polite, quick and friendly. The place is nice, it's located in a resort complex.

Cant really comment due to Corona restrictions.However the accomodation was top notch.Everything in the resort was either shut or restricted.Would def love to go back when normality resumes.

Traditional cosy bar on the Plas Talgarth resort. When we visited in November there was a lovely roaring fire. The menu was a little pricey, but the food was excellent and there are even a couple of gluten free choices. Will go again next time we are there.

Bar was quiet and lacked ambiance BUT the food was stunning. Presentation made you want to photograph the plate. A taste sensation. Restaurant food at reasonable price. We will go again

Food was absolutely excellent, with generous portion sizes - very good value for money indeed. Staff were very nice too.

Food was excellent, great value and very generous portions, kids meals were huge. There were nine of us an we all got served at the same time. However the wait between the starters and the mains was too long and the kids got fed up. And the service could have been more attentive - we did feel a bit forgotten in a side room.

F A N T A S T I C!!! Food is beautiful and lovely selection of drinks I'd like to also point out the bar staff's hard work. Hazel & Luke especially. I have been in many times and well.... some of the customers really deserve a slap the way they speak to staff BUT!!! The staff took it. And gave even better service to them which I think takes a lot of control and love for the job and Bar. They care about all needs like gluten free and vegetarian. I have seen them go completely out of their way to make sure no one is affected by food even cooking chips completely separate in a pan. Come on... DEDICATION!! Thank you so much all of you. I will still be a regular obviously 😋😍😍
