A nice environment, very cute little pub. The starter was incredible and tasty, however the steak wasn't as nice as expected. The prices were a bit steep, but the portion sizes were decent. 4 stars!

My partner and I ate here last night. We've not been to Dolgellau since 2019. We had a very friendly welcome. The food was fantastic and good sized portions. We had the sharing platter for starters and then I had one of the best sirloin steaks I've had in a while. My partner really enjoyed his lamb burger too. Nice atmosphere too.

Amazing restaurant! Staff kind and welcoming.Average prices but astonishing cuisine.Worth of a visit.I’m not a fun of lamb but I’m happy to have done an exception here.Highly recommended

Had breakfast here and it was great! The breakfast bap is amazing value for money and I think it would be good as a takeaway if you're going for any outdoors activities. Full Welsh breakfast was really good as well. Carrot and coriander soup was super nice. Their cappucino was very smooth. The seating upstairs was really comfortable and spacious and their toilet is super clean 👍

What a fantastic cafe/restaurant, the coffee and cake we had was lovely and the cup was massive. The staff were friendly and I believe it was the manager let us have a look upstairs in the old court room which is now a restaurant. It has some fantastic architectural features, especially the freeze from the witches trials. So sad we only just found this place a week before we move away.

We had beef lasagnas, both delicious and reasonable portion/price. Decent service and seating. We were asked to pay upfront, which in all honesty we weren’t sure if that was just us being labelled, or if that was their process. If our tab was left open we might have been encouraged to order cake/coffees after our meal. Otherwise was much needed, enjoyable post-walk grub.

Great place full of history and the food is superb. Local produced cooked to perfection. Good selection of cakes to enjoy with coffee or tea. We stopped for lunch and had their baguettes which were exceptional.

·

Amazing building, set in an old jailhouse (downstairs) and a courthouse (upstairs) where they have lots of seating. Food is lovely and have local beers and spirits, staff are friendly. Would recommend

Rustic and cosy inside the restaurant. Food was okay. Sticky toffee pudding was good as it was not overly sweet. Staff were all very friendly and prompt in their service (but it was not crowded that day).

Wasn't expecting much to be fair ,but was actually impressed with the lunch I had.( Lamb in Pitta.) Was far better than a previous lamb meal in Aberystwyth at a place called Medina. Well done. The Mrs enjoyed her ham salad too
