Breeze Hill in Isle of Anglesey

Nipped in here as we were staying at a caravan club site locally. Couldn't fault the service, in fact many a posh establishment could take a leaf out of their book. As soon as we went in the barman escorted us to a table and a delightful young lady brought us menus and our drinks. Hubby had the Breeze steak burger with cheese and bacon, it came absolutely loaded with cheese and the bacon rasher was like a bacon steak. I had the crispy chicken burger which was two breasts in a crispy coating with the choice of a cool or Cajun mayo. Both burgers were accompanied by lettuce, coleslaw and the hottest crispiest french fries. Macdonald's needs to take a lesson from you guys on fries cooking. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

What a find!!The family and the dog went searching Anglesea for a family day out on a holiday.Stopped here by accident, but how glad we were.Dog friendly, spacious, and well priced. Lovely staff, but more importantly the food was amazing!!!Thanks so much.

Friendly atmosphere food was good (better than most we have found on Anglesey) great service and clean. If I could give 4.5 I would. Will definitely come back.

Used to love coming to breeze hill. 2 years ago the roast was spot on brilliant flavour and amazing serviceI took my family out for a special occasion and said the Sunday roast was lovely to them. Unfortunately 5/6 meals was cold which was replaced. The veg was packed veg which had a funny taste when asked if there is anything she can do with the bill as compensation the answer was no as it was fresh food not even a complementary drink or a free meal. ShamefulUpdate 13.04.2022- thank you for your response.I clearly stated the food was replaced. The food was not up to satisfactory quality which means we are entitled to compensation which was not offered as a common courtesy that is why I had to ask. Your staff was polite and friendly, but unfortunately the rudeness of management brings the whole standard down. A regular customer of yours agreed you was in the wrong and believed you should have compensated us. Furthermore to lie about plates being empty is low. Many lovely places to eat this is not one of them, try catch 22, pebbles, the white eagle, the shed, lastra farm and the Benny all lovely food and drinks with good management and better manners than yourself. The high star rating is clearly reflected from the previous owners not the new land lords

We visited Breeze Hill, Benllech during a recent visit to Anglesey, we had a very warm and friendly welcome, including our dog. 1st things 1st our dog was offered a bowl of water, then we were offered the menu! Which didn’t disappoint, the fish and chips were the best we’ve had for a long time.

Stopp6for a meal, restraint side very clean ad tidy, food was good. But found the gray a bit dark with my lamb shank. Was told had new management and looking to make changes.

We were extremely disappointed with the food from Breeze Hill Hotel on Sunday 11/4/2022 , we had booked a special family meal for 6 as we have been going there for years and it had quite a good reputation from the previous landlords. We arrived early and had some drinks and ordered 1 fish & chips and 5 Sunday roasts after approximately 20 minutes the fish dinner was brought out followed up with the Sunday roasts after taking one mouthful realised the whole meal was cold infact all 5 meals were cold , I told the waitress and the manager asked which dinner was cold and we said all the 5 roast dinners so she took them away, after approx 20 minutes the meals were replaced however this time it was warm and my son had finish his fish dinner, the meal itself was very bland The broccoli and cauliflower was quite hard and the carrot and the Swede were the diced type you get out of Iceland Not really what we were expecting at £17 per meal was extremely disappointing , The chef did come out and apologised and said there was some communication problem back in the kitchen , however that was no excuse for still bringing out cold food and us having to wait an extra 20 minutes or so for our meals ! So when we asked for the bill we said is there anything they can do for us In the way of compensation and the landlady said NO not at all as we cooked the food from fresh , so we won’t be going there again under these new people that are running the establishment , I don’t think they will last long as there are plenty of other places to get good food in the area I have supplied a photo of my receipt to show that she cannot say we must be getting mixed up with some other pub .So can you please explain why I am cheeky to ask for some form of compensation for your errors , there are six of us at the table five meals were brought out cold which were sent back not our fault, my son had to eat his fish and chips without the others joining in why should we wait 20 odd minutes each on top of The 20 odd minutes previous , most restaurants I visit the waitresses and waiters come over and ask how are you enjoying your food but you did not even do this Even after the replacement meals , and as for being called cheeky and a keyboard warrior 3 out of 5 of my complaints on Google this is over15 years so really most people are getting it right first time , if you’re visiting the Benllech area I suggest you go ANYWHERE else rather than the Breeze Hill hotel

A most warm, friendly, enthusiastic welcome, for me, my friend & her little dog Woody... it was explained from the start limited menu.... nothing to complain about.... my meal was not "listed" as such but the individual ingredients existed as part of other meal options ( I'm doing slimming world and really wanted to eat out on plan... success!! ).... I have never experienced such a willingness in a pub/restaurant for them to aim to be so flexible and accommodating...... in fact I lie.... I did experience this once before.... The Ritz, London!!10 out of 10 Breeze Hill, just sorry we didn't get to return ... but we will...

Well what can I say. I've been waiting to try out The Breeze since last year when we were in Benllech.Amazing food , Brilliant friendly staff.I had steak which was cooked very well which I asked for and was lovely, my daughter had fish and chips which was soon in her tummy and she really enjoyed it, being 6 she is fussy but loved it. My misses had lamb which fell off the bone in the gravy and mash and was quickly polished off all followed by a mouth watering desert. This place went well above my expectations. Well done to the staff and new owners.

Only serve food in restaurant? Sat outside on a lovely day, wanted bowl of chips for kids, could only have them in restaurant. Had our dog with us, but told we could bring her in as its dog friendly. Not keen on dogs in restaurants. Missing a trick.
