Cafe Neptune in Isle of Anglesey

In my opinion the best fish and chips on Anglesey and my go to place every visit to Beaumaris. The problem now is they have lost the plot with their prices. Bought two fish and one small chips to take away and eat on the seafront and paid £17 . Yes it’s a tourist location and you will pay for that but it’s still a chippy with wooden forks and fish wrapped in paper .But excellent fresh fish

Fancied a fish butty so gave this place a try as it looked very popular, took about 10 minutes to get served as it was so busy , ordered the food and grabbed a table to wait for our order to be made,a few minutes later it was ready, the fish was tiny only just about filling the standard size breadcake, it was okay but nothing special.

Perfect fish & chips as usual 😋Been going to this chippy since I was a kid .. and even though I've lived abroad for yrs now .. I never miss a chance or 3!! For a good fish & chips .. yummy yummy in my tummy 😋A defo must if you're in Beaumaris 👍👌💞🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Diolch to you all 💕

Service was excellent, food was lovely with exception to the chips as they were slightly over cooked but other than that I really can't fault the place

Can't fault it: wife had calamari, scampi, whitebait selection and I had battered cod, both with chips and mushy peas. Friendly service, spotlessly clean, chips cooked to perfection with a (rare) slight crunch on the outside, none of it too greasy, generous portions and decent price. Would definitely return. Great job guys!

Ordered 2 lots of fish and chips for about £18... the place looks ok but once we got our food that's when it started. Everything was soaked in grease. I mean the fish tasted fresh, so why ruin it like this? 6 hours later and we still feel very unwell :/

The seating area is really clean and comfy.The staff were are friendly.I had chips and vegetables burger.The chips were really nice however the burger was a disappointment.It was a vegetable burger (which I find boring at the best of times) on a dry bun.I ended up taking it home to throw on the bin. A waste of £3.80 or 2 litres of fuel

Went there for chips after a lovely walk on Benllech beach and ordered two portions of chips and one large sausage and it was £10 +. The chips were very over cooked and seems that they could have been leftover chips from late afternoon just warmed up. Not nice and very disappointed. Where are the old fashioned cone of chips that were lovely, cheap and tasty.

Awful service, shouting at customers when they’ve bought loads of stuff. Giving dirty looks at people. Need training in customer service. Uniform was dirty! Hair not tied up and masks weren’t worn. Do not go here!

I Really hate leaving low star reviews however this Fish and Chip shop really needs a poor review the staff was not interested in what they was doing, no friendly welcomes ushered through like cattle and asked to wait outside for food this i could understand with current covid restrictions ... it wasn't as thought they was busy we was the only customers. we ordered five portions of chips and one steak pie and chips the portions was pretty poor ... the pie itself was hard like plastic the meat inside was crispy so i took it back for a return i did explain it was not acceptable to serve food like this... the young girl who took it from me didn't apologise she just said.. she will go and ask her manager what they should do a few minutes later she came back and said that's fine i will give you a refund for the pie.. "i didn't understand why she needed to ask if i could have a replacement the pie as it was in a really poor state" i was really hungry and asked if i could have a decent pie that had not been left in the hot cabinmate all day. i was given a fresh pie, that was ok not the best but OK... however it felt like it was given to me under duress! see photo poor customer service and food. Th Restaurant was clean and tidy
