Caffi Siop Mechell is Llanfechell's community hub and is owned and run by the village.All the helpers are local volunteers, with the exception of Liz who prepares the food and Jackie who is in front of house, and post-mistress Elaine who opens the Post Office on a Tuesday afternoon.Other volunteers help with the garden, with maintenance, management and with the running of the Caffi and outreach.All meals are prepared and made fresh to order. Gluten free options are available.Whilst there, pay a visit to the Stiwdio and browse through locally made arts and crafts. Perhaps treat yourself to a local treasure.Highly recommended.
